Sometimes you forget how good and kind people can be — and then someone like Richard (Richard and Isabel are the owners) comes along and reminds you. I arrived early at 08:00, before check-in time, after a long night train. I was tired, confused, and had many concerns about my ski plans (we dont ski in Israel, and it was my first time). Then I met Richard at the reception. He noticed my stress and calmly said, "Why don’t we start with breakfast? Allow me to take care of your belongings untill the room is ready." He truly wrapped me in care and kindness — and it meant the world to me. All my questions were answered by Isabel, who gave me great recommendations and guidance. Richard shared helpful ski tips, and I even received a lovely Easter gift — a small egg filled with chocolates. The place itself is very clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the only downside is the distance to the ski area, which can be a bit challenging. To summarize — I 100% recommend this place. Tento apartmánový hotel se nachází v centru Åre, pouhých 100 metrů od náměstí Åre Torg a 300 metrů od lyžařského vleku Kabinbanan. Nabízí ubytování s možností vlastního stravování a bezplatným Wi-Fi. Wonderful location, big cosy rooms like home-away-from-home. Exceptionally good price/value-rate. Common room in basement is a life saver (because of weather!) while waiting the check-in. We recommend this place esp. for longer stay in Åre.

Situated on Prästgatan pedestrian street in central Östersund, Hotel Emma offers free WiFi and individually decorated rooms with TV and a private bathroom with shower. The best and cosiest hotel in Östersund! Great location and in an plder building which gives it character. But the absolute best part of staying at hotel Emma is the breakfast! So mich to choose from and organic/locally produced products. We keep on coming back anytime we are in town.

Centrally located in Östersund, this hotel is 350 metres from the Östersund Västra Train Station. It offers free WiFi, free pool and sauna access and rooms with modern décor. Hotel is located in the center of the city. Room is clean, bright and well furnished. Bathroom is equipped with good skincare products. Breakfast is delicious and varied. It was nice to find coffee and small croissants on the reception for all guests.

Set in an 1883 theatre building, this hotel is within 200 metres of Östersund’s pedestrian street, Prästgatan, and the bus terminal. The theatre is a lively host for various events and music concerts.... The ambiente of the theatre, the interieur, the decoration, the breakfast room, the lobby... Great! Restaurants nearby.

Ristafallets Camping se nachází v destinaci Nyland v oblasti Jämtland a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, dětské hřiště, terasu a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. Åre Train Station je 18 km daleko. The location was extraordinarily clean throughout the whole campground. The cabin was cute and served its purpose for my stay. The bathrooms were easy to access and everyone cleaned up after themselves.

Located next to Frösö Park Arena, Hotel Frösö Park is only 3 km from Åre-Östersund Airport. Great, very clean hotel with a fantastic breakfasts with never ending choices. Children liked the games prepared for guests in the lobby. We were happy of the stay and recommend for both short and longer stays.

Neighbouring Åre’s ski slopes, this lodge-style hotel is just 250 metres from Åre Train Station. It features a cosy fireplace lounge, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Swedish cuisine. I would highly recommend Hotel Granen! The staff are amazing. The room was very comfortable and the location to town was a short walk. The restaurant is excellent, we went for dinner and the food was first class. Breakfast was also good.

Tento malý penzion se nachází 200 metrů od nejbližšího lyžařského vleku v lyžařském středisku Funäsdalen. Nabízí ubytování s vlastní koupelnou. Wi-Fi a parkování jsou zdarma. Very cozy apartment, quiet and warm room. We really enjoyed relaxing there after long day of skiing. Breakfast was limited but delicious. We especially enjoyed the freshly baked bread!
