Located in the centre of Nelson only 100 metres from the main shopping area, Palms Motel offers self-contained apartments with full kitchen facilities. It also has an outdoor heated swimming pool. The location is a short walk from the town center, and convenient for our day trip to Abel Tasman National Park. The room was comfortable, clean and roomy with a nice outdoor seating area. Check-in and out communication was clear and the staff were friendly. Parking was convenient.

Tides Hotel is located on the banks of Maitai River, in the centre of Nelson. It features a restaurant, a heated outdoor pool and free WiFi access. On-site parking is available. Tides is perfectly located on the river, we had a river view room which was nice (would have been nicer if the weather had been better but hey what can you do about the weather) Our breakfasts were fabulous and dinner was amazing we highly recommend dining at Tides. All the staff were absolutely beautiful friendly people We would definitely recommend staying at Tides if you are visiting Nelson

Admirals Motor Inn offers self-contained units with kitchen facilities, private bathroom and spacious lounge area with satellite TV and free WiFi. Guests have access to a shared laundry. The room was very clean and the beds very comfy. The proprietor, Fraser, was most helpful and suggested places to see and eat at which were great.
