The hospitality here is exceptional, radiating the warmth and authenticity of a true Sri Lankan welcome. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff made us feel completely at home. The beach itself is breathtaking—perfect for a scenic run, with sun loungers thoughtfully provided under large umbrellas. While the sea isn’t the best for swimming, it’s still great for a refreshing dip or catching a few waves. Dining here was a highlight. Thomas, the chef, owner, and host, curated an incredible menu that left us impressed, and the service was flawless. Breakfasts were equally outstanding—among the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. This property is a true find, offering incredible value for money and an atmosphere of tranquility and romance—perfect for couples seeking a quiet retreat. Without a doubt, one of our best stays in Sri Lanka!

The location was nice, close to beach and town. Located in the alley, so you can have a quiet stay if you want. The interior design was super cute and modern, with a nice and spacious balcony. It was the most cleanest and best accommodation in my 18 days travel in Sri Lanka. The team were amazing and welcoming. The breakfast is a must-try. They changed menu everyday with 3 types of options! I enjoyed a lot staying with Oltremare. Most importantly, I felt safe for the first 2 days when it was by myself as a female travelers.

Very nice hotel located in a quiet area, 10 minutes walk from the beach and the center. The room is spacious, clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom and has everything you need. Breakfast is very good and varied. However, the person who makes the stay there special is the owner, who is very kind and helpful. He recommended where to eat, how to get to different places, as well as agreed to early check-in and late check-out, for which we are very grateful. The price of the room is a bit higher compared to other accommodations we have used, but it is very visible in the standard and worth the price. We highly recommend it!

It was so nice waking up and enjoying the views with a yummy breakfast. Short distance from town. Can hire tuk tuk or rent a bike from here.

After staying at a few hotels in Sri Lanka, this is definitely our favorite one. The owners are the friendliest people, they went above and beyond to help us with different requests and make our stay feel like home. The room was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed including strong AC and a safe box. The hotel also has a shared kitchen where we were able to heat up leftovers. Cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be coming back!
