Unbeknownst to me when making the reservation, the hotel was undergoing renovations. They’d done their best to still make it serviceable, and it was. Just a little underwhelming to see when overnighting for the first time in a long time with the family. Plus there were some very strong smells on our floor from what I assume was the new paint possibly.

On duty manager (guy) asked the reason I was staying there. I felt that it was not his business.

The room was okay - just VERY USED. The room darkening drapes did not shut. The bed & pillows were beyond USED! We felt like we were sleeping in a soon on that bed. Pillows were hard - very uncomfortable. There was a couch in the room --- it was so soft, when we sat down, we were IN the couch - very hard to get out of. Also, the cushions were torn. Just expected more for the price.

Location was perfect for us. The breakfast - & breakfast facilities - were very nice, as was the lobby area.

Comfy beds & pillows, good location as it was close to the University we were dropping our son off to. Breakfast good, my son loved the waffle maker.

1. Got our key card and accidentally went to room 111 instead of our 101… and it WORKED! Had been there only a few minutes and the couple assigned to the room entered using their key card (they were just checking in also). WHY DID BOTH CARDS WORK? Issue was resolved easily, no one freaked out. Could have gone differently. 2. Room smelled like bleach (at least it’s clean!) 3. Very little counter space in bathroom. 4. Second night we arrived after dark and parking lot lights were not on. Scary/dangerous. Mentioned it to staff and was told, “They’ll come on pretty soon”

Dining area was bright and clean and good food and good coffee. Appreciated front desk lady. Chill, but efficient.

Not the hotels fault, but there were kids running up and down the hallways and the stairs and slamming doors and stomping until midnight. Called the front desk and complained but it didn’t help.

Ventilation fan in bathroom wasn't working. The mirror light in the bathroom wasn't bright enough to apply makeup. Fair amount of noise in the mornings from numerous trucks departing a truckstop two doors down thr road.

Friendly, helpful staff. Well stocked breakfast buffet, with fairly good variety, including a few hot items. Room was comfortable, with several nice amenities.

Wheb we checked in the front desk person didn't say a word to us. She gave us our keys and didn't welcome us at all. Went to room tried to use the keys, they didn't work. Back downstairs; she gave us new keys and again didn't say a word to us. Got into the room and there were NO towels or wash cloths. Back downstairs she gave my wife towels and wash cloths; again didn't say word one! If I were the owner and this happened to me I would be firing someone or someone(s). The room was neat and clean and very acceptable. Service stunk!!!!

Pool was small and dirty, needed updated bad, no towels in pool area, breakfast was ok for powdered eggs and precooked bacon and gravy was not the best. Hotel is under construction and that wasn’t known until we got there. It sure needed an update. Pictures of pool are deceiving. Hallways are nasty.

Hot food choices, it had some variety, cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Front desk people were friendly.

Just walking into the lobby was appealing. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had several choices and tasted great. I would highly recommend staying in this Best Western.

Very poor water pressure in shower, a daily nuisance. Did not see an Internet station, not sure if it served business travelers.
