That we didn’t plan for more time here. It was so relaxing, especially the spa on a rainy day.

The staff were so kind and accommodating. We arrived early since there were bad storms forecasted. Luckily the people who were staying in the room we reserved checked out early so our room was the first one cleaned and we were able to get cozy during the rain. The room was beautiful and spacious with gorgeous views and a comfy bed. We visited during harvest season so many wineries were not doing tours, but the staff called 5 different wineries until they found one who was able to host us for a tasting. The tasting at Scurek was also great and we learned a lot. Breakfast was amazing and one of the owners even searched outside the property to help me look for a watch that fell off the night before. Already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip back to Slovenia!

- The property and surroundings are spectacular, gorgeous new building and rooms, nested right in the vineyards with a beautiful outdoor patio and indoor restaurant. There’s only a few rooms, and so peaceful at night. - The owners were so friendly accommodating, we enjoyed a welcome drink outside on the patio. - We had to leave early before breakfast hours but we were offered a packed breakfast to take with us - We pre booked the wine tasting which was fantastic-tasting of several of the wines, a tour of the cellars, some lovely cheese and meats overlooking the vineyards , it was a brilliant experience which I would recommend!

We loved everything about this property. The infinity pool overlooking the vineyard was a standout. We also loved the artwork throughout the hotel. Exceptional hospitality was given from the time of our arrival until our departure.

On arrival they realised from my passport that it was my birthday, so managed to surprise us with extra sparkling wine, a slice of cake, and a giant candle which was a nice touch. The facilities and the room are of excellent quality, everything finished to a very high standard and looks new. The pool is fantastic, chances are you'll have it to yourselves if you want to go in. The wine tasting was wonderful (and pretty generous!), held in the breakfast room which has giant floor to ceiling windows and a stunning view over the valley. Belvin Restaurant is a two-minute walk away, went there for dinner on the first night and it was lovely. The next day we wanted e-bikes so a member of staff arranged for a rental company in Smartno to pick us up, about a 10 minute drive. They kit you out with helmets and a lock. We spent most of the day exporing the area, got up to the top of Mount Korada, then later we rode to a wine tasting in Vipolze followed by dinner. We rode the bikes back to Scurek and were able to just leave them locked to the bike rack, the rental firm collected them at some point the next day. Staff are all really friendly and are on site from at least 7am to 7pm, they were able to arrange a taxi for us on check-out which was handy. My memories of our time there have this unreal dream-like quality to them, it was absolutely perfect.

We really enjoyed our two nights' stay at Ščurek. It started with a warm and personal welcome from the youngest brother, Nejc, and other staff. The private sauna we were offered, and the outside swimming pool area, were in top condition and great for relaxation. Primož, the oldest brother, entertained us with an informative and extensive wine tasting experience, well above expectations. We will certainly come back the next time we visit Brda.

Stunning hotel with an amazing view. Noosha was amazing, guided us through our stay- showed us the facilities etc. We did both the wine tasting and used the spa facilities. Both were great. The room itself is new, modern and beautifully decorated. The wine tasting won't give you tonnes of information but you get to try the majority of wines they produce which is nice- as a couple we tried 16 wines.

Panoramic view of the incredible surrounding vineyards. Great location. Quiet, calm, relaxing. Very warm welcoming by the Scurek Family, with one of their own sparkling wines as welcoming drink. Excellent service. Very modern and stylish place, felt luxurious, beautiful architecture. Nice pool with vineyard view. Also recommend the very generous wine tasting. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Super modern, yet very cosy atmosphere. The breakfast and wine tasting were fantastic and staff is super friendly, making you feel very at home. Also the pool is great to relax with amazing views on the vineyards. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Can recommend 100%.

Everything was perfect

Amazing place to stay, I wish we had booked longer stay! So peaceful and beautiful - everything was perfect and the staff really attentive and welcoming. Of course I loved the wine and the food and the breakfast was really delicious and made from local food. The area is beautiful and many places to visit for food or just walk around. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

Everything was perfect. The place is amazing, so modern and clean. We loved the tasting experience, our host gave a lot of information and made everything possible to have us enjoy a perfect stay. The swimming pool over the wine yard is amazing. The room was wonderful. We hope we will come back soon !

Incredible stay at Ščurek vineyard as described by others. Great welcome by Nuša who went the extra mile throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, and helped with booking restaurants and wine tasting. Nejc and his brothers were all very hospitable and welcoming and offered us anything we could want. Delicious wine by the family - we tried 16 on the tasting which was amazing value for money and the cellar tour was very interesting. We had to leave early on the morning of departure and we had a very generous takeaway breakfast prepared for us! Beautiful surroundings, room fantastic. We loved all the architectural details and the thought that has gone into all elements of the building. We would love to return for longer!
