Nothing. One small suggestion; perhaps the bar area could do with a bell as often there was nobody around, meaning service was slow.

Every inch of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. It is so peaceful. Mohammed was the most wonderful host we’ve ever experienced. He is so calm and generous, extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. He gave us a fabulous tour describing every detail of the hotel, you can tell a lot of love and care went into its construction and decoration. Mohammed is also very knowledgable on the local Essaouira area, as well as Morocco, and provided good advice. Hussain who provided bar and food service was also extremely helpful and gave good tips for Essaouira. A local taxi service was provided which was extremely helpful. Although others have mentioned having a car is useful (which it is), it’s also really easy to organise taxi transfers via the hotel. In hindsight, we didn’t need to hire a car. The room was of an excellent size, very tastefully decorated with a lovely balcony and view. We have lovely sunset views from the balcony. The pool and loungers were fantastic, very relaxing. Water was a little cold but you get used to it. Quite refreshing in the heat. Breakfasts were good and varied with good service. Also loved the sights and sounds of the nearby goat herd which provided some entertainment. Thank you to all at Zayyna Hotel de Charme for making it an unforgettable experience!

Staff all lovely but in general service lacking for number of staff around the hotel - better service and things like free water would make the stay feel fancier. Air con unit in room didn’t work very well and was very noisy

This beautiful new boutique hotel is stunningly designed, with every detail carefully thought through and perfectly in harmony. The architecture blends seamlessly into the peaceful countryside, and the interior décor is refined and consistent throughout. The Tamegroute pottery in particular added such a unique touch. The palm tree-lined driveway creates a sense of grandeur as you arrive. From the terrace, the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. The pool is delightful: the water temperature was just right, and the sun loungers were comfortable. We stayed in the most basic (and therefore cheapest) room, but it was absolutely perfect: beautifully decorated, a comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. This is the ideal place to escape the busy work life and truly relax. Some other reviewers mentioned the access road, but we honestly don’t understand the complaints. It’s just a typical Moroccan gravel side road, easily manageable if you drive slowly – as you should anyway, since you often come across goat herds on the way! The food is delicious; not an extensive menu, but that makes perfect sense for such a small-scale hotel where guests often dine in Essaouira. This way, every meal is fresh and nothing goes to waste. The tajines were outstanding, cooked with love, and the breakfasts were a real treat too: different types of pancakes, bread, a freshly made omelette. What really sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. We have traveled to Morocco before and know the warmth of Moroccan hospitality, but the kindness and genuine care of this team were truly exceptional. During our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble. Each staff member, in their own way, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and they did it from the heart! They also had a wonderful team spirit among themselves, which made us feel like part of the Zayyna family. Saying goodbye was genuinely difficult.

This hotel is beautifully decorated, and the pictures don’t do it justice. Since it’s new, everything feels fresh, modern, and very clean. It’s also a great spot for a retreat, peaceful yet not too far from the buzzing town. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

I would recommend improving the food service, especially by offering a more diverse and rich menu to encourage guests to dine on-site instead of going out. Adding evening entertainment or cozy events would also enhance the overall ambiance

Amazing discovery. Nice management and stuff. The property is surrounded by a beautiful and very calm landscape. Ideal for relaxing and escaping the stressful city life. The architecture is mesmerizing, local materials, finishes and details. A very relaxing palette and a delightful Moroccan scents. We highly recommend this establishment.

The wind 😜 Of course nothing to do with the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and the interior design is top notch. As a newly opened hotel there are some teething issues. Breakfast was brought out all in one go so you had to decide which hot item you wanted to eat first, eggs or crepe. The room was missing a light in the bathroom above the sink. Assume that's being installed later but did not affect the stay. A bin in the guestroom other than the bathroom would have been good as well as a mirror other than the single mirror in the bathroom. With the centre of the hotel being open to the first floor ceiling noise did travel. This wasn't a problem as the hotel was quiet but could be if a number of guests were inside of an evening. Fab location for the drive to Essaouaira one way and the beach the other. Our host Ottoman (hope spelling is ok) was brilliant, friendly and very helpful.

Absolutely stunning hotel, felt like a luxury resort but the staff made you feel at home. The rooms were beautifully designed. Everything in the hotel was well thought out and very picturesque.
