It was all pretty good really.

The host was excellent, the airport pick up smooth and the breakfast the next day was fantastic. Overall this was place was really good value as we enjoyed our short stopover after along flight.

Water cooler was a great idea but not working so water was warm, not a big deal as we put bottles in the fridge

The villa was very spacious and the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were huge! Too huge for us, we asked to reduce it on day 2! Beautiful Sri Lankan breakfast offered on our last day which was delicious. Pool was a welcome relief and the kids loved it. A little walk to the main main, ideal location for restaurants and massages!

While comfortable, some of the amenities are a bit tired and stained (curtains etc), and our rooms had some pretty significant spider webs and mosquito swarms. Sleep with the net on and you should be okay however.

Great location – walking distance to the main drag yet quiet enough overnight. Pool was super relaxing and right outside our villa. Staff super helpful and friendly, really nice breakfast too. I liked settling up the balance in the outdoor office – cool setup!

Everything was perfect!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Negombo. The location is excellent – very close to restaurants and within walking distance to almost everything in town, as well as easily accessible by tuk-tuk. The property itself feels like an oasis, with a spectacular garden that looks like a perfectly maintained jungle 🌿. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the coffee was absolutely delicious – the perfect way to start each morning. A wonderful place to stay in Negombo, combining convenience, comfort, and a touch of tropical paradise.

Stayed in the two bedroom apartment adjacent to the pool. We were greeted warmly on arrival (late!) and shown to our apartment. It’s a little rough around the edges but had two bedrooms with incredibly comfortable queen beds, ceiling fans and good air con, which made up for that. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. There was also a big container of filtered water in our room, which was fabulous. The setting was gorgeous, the pool a godsend and the breakfast was fabulous. A massive plate of fruit, banana pancakes, toast & eggs. Finally the staff were all fabulous.

Such friendly staff. We used their taxi service. We took a while to get through customs and to exchange money and they were very patient. The 2 bedroom villa was older but clean and there was a lovely pool. Breakfast was really beautiful. A short walk to Salt, a terrific restaurant.

It was our first encounter with Sri Lankan hospitality and it was truly amazing. The location it wonderful, close to the airport, and the welcome was very warm. We were shown our rooms, after which the kids plunged in the pool (which was okay, even though it was already dark and past 20:00...). The manager recommended us some places to have dinner (in our case Lucky's Family Restaurant). Our first night was good, and we were amazed to see the place properly after waking up. Arriving in the dark does have its negatives. The place was beautiful! So was our breakfast, with loads of fruit, including the fruit soursop, which was new to us, Europeans. ;-) Thanks for the welcome. Highly recommend this place for first /last night in Sri Lanka.

We loved our stay here! It was the Perfect start to our vacation! The Pool was nice and the breakfast very yummy. Especially the staff was amazing and very helpful. They organized us a Transport to Sigiriya with a stop in Dambulla. Michael, the driver, was also very lovely! Definitely recommend!
