How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The place is very near to the airport and free pick up and send off are the best offering for transit pax.

Don't expect daylight but as an accommodation before flight departure adequate. Noise due to aircrafts, of course, so close to the airport but also significant traffic noises from the main road. Better after 10 p.m.
Excellent location and amenities. Clean, with large kitchen and even washing machine. Good a/c. A nice beach restaurant within 7 mins walking distance (LKR 1000 for swimming there) - or arrange for a simple dinner at "The Table" next door which is associated with the accomodation.

Just some UHT milk in the fridge would have been great.
The flat was super clean and very well appointed. The airport transfer was perfectly organised. The bed was very comfy and it was a really good experience.

Great place to stay when arriving at airport in the middle of night. Host picked us up and drove us the 5 minutes to the accommodation. Accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable.

It was our first stop in Sri Lanka and we absolutely loved it. The contact with the owner was easy and we felt very very welcomed by him. Late evening he picked us up from the airport and showed us the next day how we could go to our next destination. The room is very clean and comfortable.

We stayed here very briefly, to freshen up before our flight. In terms of value for money, this was excellent as it also included a washing machine and free transport to the airport. The manager was really friendly and helpful.

Great location for an airport transit! Very friendly owner who dropped me early on the morning to the airport. It’s a bit noisy because of the big street but with earplugs no problem at all. Highly recommended.

Everything was great! The host was very friendly and welcoming. The free airport transfer was a huge plus and made everything so convenient. The kitchen and bathroom were extremely well equipped. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this place!

The AC is right above the bed, which was a bit too close for comfortable sleeping.
Very friendly staff and we got a shuttle at 4:30 am, very punctual. The room itself was clean and ample.

Fuss-free stay located a short drive away from the Airport. The biggest perk here is that they offer free pickup from the Airport. Room is spacious and well equipped, with a kitchen and washroom. For those driving, there is also a parking lot available
