It was the most wonderful experience staying with Chamindri and Chanaka. They're lovely people. Chamindri picked us up for free from the bus station when we arrived. She cooked us a delicious dinner and the included breakfast was also fantastic. We had lovely conversations with the couple and they made sure that we were comfortable. I don't think I'll stay anywhere else when I'm in Kandy in the future.

Everything was nice.

Was such an awesome stay! Highly recommend!!! Great couple, great location. Considering that I did not like the chaos of the Kandy town it was such a blessing to come home to a relaxed neighborhood while having restaurants close by. We had a great cooking class hosted by Chamindri in the kitchen with her home made spices. We went for a nice run the one morning, the area is also very pretty and the balcony provides the most beautiful sunset view!!! Overall, very happy.

Staying at Pekoetrails, Chanaka and Chamindri's beautiful home was one of the nicest experiences of our trip. We stayed for two nights but felt like we are staying with family friends that we known for much longer. The house is surrounded with many plants and you can enjoy view from the terraces also filled with more plants than you can imagine. They arranged everything we needed and gave as many advice on how to make the most of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we also used laundry service at more than fair price.

This is not the most convenient place if you want to visit Kandy city (much more adapted il you want to go to Hantana mountain or Pekoe trail), but these people are so nice that I still want to go there

Beautiful house in a peaceful surroundings. Kandy downtown is just a ride away- and here it’s much more peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful views from the balcony. The hosts of this homestay are exceptional people, and they genuinely want to help the guests, trying to make sure that they have a nice time visiting Sri Lanka. As a guest I also had an opportunity to meet their dogs and I fell in love with them. All the recommendations for this place!

Nothing to complain.

The serenity I wanted was exactly there. Also being so close to the Pekoe trail was a plus. Chanaka very kindly offered me a ride from the town to the house too as I took public transport from Colombo and couldn't find the exact Google coordinates (happens in mountain areas sometimes). Chamindri was amazing to pack a delicious and sufficient breakfast for the trail. Clean and cozy homely stay that comes with lots of kindness, love and a heavenly garden. The interior is full of beautiful antiques. Plan your food as there are no places to buy closeby but, Pickme delivery is there from many restaurants. If you like dogs, you are gonna LOVE this stay. But if you don’t like, nothing to worry they will keep the dogs away. Sullivan is a mini giant but the cutest dog ever. When you bring food - he will know :) Thank you Chanaka and Chamindri for the great time ❤️

This was an absolutely amazing place. The home is spectacular, the hosts are incredible, and the breakfast was absolutely astoundingly good. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, with or without the Pekoe Trail.

It is not the most convenient if you want to visit Kandy city (40 min by foot, but still doable, and you can still take a tuk tuk), but I went there for the mountains. The portable A/C in the room was not very powerful but it did the job

People were extremely friendly, they even went to Kandy to pick me after the train. Also they speak perfect English which makes communication easy. I wanted to go hiking and trail running so the house was very well located (10min+ running or 20 min walk to the Tea museum). Will definitely come again !

I stayed here while I am doing the Pekoe trail. This place located near the trail starting point. It looks like a place out of fairy tale. Fully covered with trees and flowers, the home is barely visible to the road. The hosts were super nice and helpful. They even gave me a ride to the trail starting point. Room had plenty of amenities as advertised. There was a even Play station 4. Also breakfast was good. You can order food from Pickme too, so don't have to worry about travelling to Kandy for food cravings. It's totally worth for the price.
