- A car is absolutely essential in this area! Even though there’s a train station nearby, trains may run very infrequently. Bus schedules are confusing and difficult to manage. Definitely rent a car. - The shared kitchenette could use a cutting board – it would make food preparation easier.

- We had an incredible stay at this villa! - The staff was absolutely amazing: Sebastiano helped us rent a car and even arranged transport to our next destination. We’ve never experienced such outstanding service in Italy before. - Incredible swimming pool – just perfect. - Delicious and varied breakfast – the best of our entire holiday. - Great bed, hot showers, really good airconditioning in the room. - Delicious scent in the room when we arrived with slippers, pool towels - just wow! - A small shared kitchenette where we prepared lunch salads a couple of times. - Everything was so clean and well maintained. - Surprisingly good Wifi. - Delicious cold drinks available for reasonable price available at all times! - Extremely relaxing pool area – the perfect place to unwind. I’ve never felt this relaxed in a hotel. - A lovely, intimate hotel with only four rooms – peace, wellbeing, and pampering all around.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was absolutely exceptional! kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Although breakfast is usually served at 8 AM, he kindly prepared it earlier for us so we could eat before leaving the accommodation. He went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed, and it's clear that he takes great care of the property. The cleanliness was outstanding, everything was spotless and well-maintained. And we have to mention the lemon trees in the garden. truly fabulous and added such a charming, authentic touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend this place! ❤️ P.s the pool is open 24/24

Tucked away in a tranquil area yet conveniently close to the town center, this place offers the perfect balance of peace and accessibility. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The property is spotlessly clean throughout, with private gated parking adding an extra sense of comfort and security. The pool area was a true highlight—exceptionally relaxing and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need, including a coffee machine and ice-cold beverages just steps away. Breakfast was a daily treat, with a delicious selection of fresh options ranging from sweet to savory. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, featuring a mini fridge that kept everything perfectly chilled, efficient air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a spacious bathroom stocked with all the toiletries one could ask for. The cherry on top was our private terrace, where we spent each evening unwinding with a glass of wine, watching the sun dip below the horizon and cast golden light over the sea. Truly an unforgettable stay.

The location was 35 minutes from Syracuse.

This is a new facility which the owner family takes great pride in. The pool was wonderful and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast was great!

Breakfast was limited. The are around the property was a bit run down, but that was common in Sicily Once you got used to it, it was fine.

The property was spotlessly clean and clearly was very newly built/refurbished. Everything is exactly as pictured. the pool was great fro sunbathing and swimming and the rooms were comfortable with all the extras you need on holiday. The staff were all very friendly and tried to help within the constraints of the language. It felt very secure on site and because of the size it felt a bit like you had your own private villa at times.

We loved everything about this accommodation. We’ve been to Italy many times and travelled across Sicily too and this is one of the best places we’ve ever had. The property is new and the owners put a lot of work in to keeping the standards high. Sebastiano is out cleaning the beautiful pool area every morning while you enjoy fresh locally sourced food for breakfast. The team of polite and friendly ladies make sure breakfast is how you like it and then begin cleaning the rooms afterwards, they do a great job. Sebastiano gave me his phone number and told me to contact him any time for help, when I asked him for a corkscrew he was there in minutes! I never leave reviews but felt that Villa Carmiano deserves it, we had a fantastic week.

It's a great place to stay away from famous historic towns and popular areas nearby, yet close to enough to visit without having to drive too much--only five minutes away from Avola town center. It feels like staying at your own countryside villa. Gated villa with four rooms only with an electric auto charging station; extremely clean rooms and the ground; The owners are very kind and enthusiastic to aid/guide you in every possible way. I saw some negative reviews about breakfast; however, I thought the breakfast was more than enough.

We are so happy that we decided to stay at Villa Carmlano. Owners of this place are super helpful and hospitable. Thanks to them we could try traditional and delicious Sicilian breakfast. Hotel is completely new, very clean and well equipped, located in the middle of lemon trees, but close enough to city center of Avola. Our room was comfortable and well designed, everywhere you can find some Sicilian decorations. Swimming pool was open 24h. Cannot imagine better place to rest and relax. Thank you 🌸

As a solo traveler without a car, staying closer to where I could just walk out, may have been an option but then I would not have had a pool and a quiet well needed time.

Firstly Sebastiano and his family could not have been more accommodating. The property is beautiful, tranquil, and spotless. A totally secluded vacation spot.

Brand new villa with comfortable rooms having all amenities ,rooms comfortable space and lovely views, very nice pool area, absolute cleanliness. Sebastiano super helpful and caring.. and suggesting places to visit and how to best get there, The villa is close to other beautiful areas such nature reserves, beaches,, Noto, Mazaremi. . There is nothing we did not like. And am 100pct sure that should there had been anything we did not like Ketty and Sebastiano would surely have cared to fix immediately.

Everything was just amazing. Brand new villa with comfortable rooms having all amenities such as mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, hair straightener, shaving foam, toothbrushes etc, comfortable space and lovely views, very nice pool area, spa facilities including use of sauna and jacuzzi in a private area and absolute cleanliness. Ketty and Sebastiano are truly great hosts who make you feel like family. Ketty very attentive and caring, Sebastiano very helpful with suggesting places to visit and how to best get there, Pietro patiently answering my questions on WhatsApp before arrival and sending us location to come and meet us to make sure we don't get lost even though the villa is easy to reach. The villa is close to other beautiful areas such as Cassibile and its lakes, nature reserves, beaches, syracuse, ortigia, Noto, Modica, Scicli, Ispica. Avola Centre, the almond museum and Avola lungomare are just 5 mins away by car, also very nice. The villa is surrounded by all types of views, sea, country, citrus and olive fields, and hills and the area is very peaceful. The breakfast was also every morning very good and fresh. We also liked tgat the villa has four rooms in all so its never crowded and feels like home. Staying here made our holiday a relaxing and perfect one indeed.

New villa, with very nice rooms and clean swimming pool. The bed was very comfortable. The stuff was extremely friendly. The location is remote which is nice if you want some nice quiet time. Highly recommended. Many thanks for a wonderful gift from the owner!
