Lots of stairs, which in and of itself is quite common, but these were big ones.

From the first communication to the drive to our car at the end of the stay, the hosts were nothing but wonderful. The space is awesome. Lots of room, a kitchen and large balcony. There were snacks and coffee/tea plus a very good pre-paid breakfast at a nearby cafe. They even provided umbrellas. Restaurant recommendations and anything else we needed.

Nothing - it was all perfect

This apartment has everything going for it. A wonderful host called Claudio, amazing location, a sunny terrace, and all the comforts you could hope for. Claudio is a great host- the best! He picked us up from the station, brought our suitcases upstairs, did a full clean with fresh linen and towels half way through our weeks stay, and brought us back to the station. He checked in on us every few days, and even dropped over a vegetable peeler when we asked for one! No request was too hard for him. The location is perfect. Just outside the old town, but still in an authentic, very old part of Polignano. We were on a cute and sunny Piazza, complete with an ancient church; and the most beautiful, authentic and charming deli called Centro Formaggi. We visited it daily for stunning fresh cheese , fruit and vegetables. (They also make incredible rolls for lunch) We were just a tiny walk into the old town, and had the sea at the end of our street. The bed is very comfortable, and there is enough room to move around. There was even a cute little table for 4, and seating on the terrace. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. You will not be disappointed

Absolutely nothing it was perfect

Our stay at Vico Blu was absolutely wonderful. Claudio and his father were incredibly accommodating, warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel truly at home and added a personal touch that made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The apartment was fantastic for 2 people and you could also use the sofa bed. Facilities were excellent and very clean. No washing machine though which would be great for longer stays. Otherwise excellent. Location close to all the action.

We booked the unit one floor up from street level. I was concerned after reading reviews about the number and steepness of the steps. It is a full flight up and the spacing between steps is large but there is a banister to hold onto all the way. Claudio and his Dad, Jacamo, do all the heavy lifting, carrying your bags up and down the stairs. The apartment is a nice size, amply furnished, comfortable and clean. We had a little balcony that was lovely after the day cooled off. The apartment is centrally located for restaurants and shops )make dinner reservations … it gets busy.) If you are driving I suggest you ask Claudio about renting the private parking garage. That saves a huge headache related to how and where to park. We are glad we did. For us, it was a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Loved everything.

Everything! It was absolutely amazing. The host was wonderful, he was so helpful with recommendations and instructions. Everything was clean and easy to use. The best room we stayed in our entire trip in Italy.

We stayed in the quadruple room. It was a beautifully designed apartment, light and bright with a balcony and everything we needed for our stay. We were given a voucher for breakfast in a local cafe which was very nice. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, it was very central but on a quiet street. Claudio was so helpful - he really went out of his way to make our short stay special, giving us several restaurant recommendations, booking a boat trip to see the caves for us and organising an airport shuttle. It was great. Will definitely re-book if we come again and would highly recommend it.

Beautiful apartment with a lovely small balcony. Had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. Claudio and his family were so helpful saving us a free parking spot close to the property and always on hand with recommendations, even taking our bags up to the room for us!

Very comfortable and nice room with all amenities incl. kitchen and terrace, close to the center, possibility of parking in a garage at 6-7 minutes by foot, Polignano is beautiful and strategic to many other beautiful locations like Bari, Monopoli, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni. Exceptionally nice hosts. Strongly recommended!

I can't think of a single thing we didn't like, faultless

The communication from Claudio and his Brother was exceptional. He was available to answer questions in advance through booking. A couple of days before he made contact via WhatsApp which made arranging arrival/check in a breeze. Both Claudio and his Brother greeted us and welcomed us to our room at the Vio Blu. They helped us with parking and assisted with our luggage. Showing us around the room, all the facilities and gave us a list of local places to try and offered to arrange a boat trip. The room i must say is beautiful, it had all we needed and more. It was clean and very user friendly. The location is excellent, very central. Claudio checked in with us to make sure we were ok and to arrange cleaning as we stayed for a week. We will miss our room at Vico Blu

The only thing we feel could be a problem to some people is that access to the property is up narrow stairs.

Super clean, well equipped apartment in a convenient location. Communication with Claudio was excellent, our train was over 2 hours late but it wasn't a problem. Breakfast is taken at a nearby friendly café, lovely fresh croissants . Good value, highly recommend.
