Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Staff is only present for check-in. Very light walls/doors so you hear everything that's going on in the hallway.
Clean room with nothing to complain but also nothing to make it special.

Small room with low ceiling and no view. Only one roll of toilet paper.
Good location,easy access, nice breakfast vouchers, had a lift, nice bathroom facilities.

The bed is not the most comfortable and the air conditioning had a huge LED that couldn’t be turned off and it was hard to sleep with that light. The bed was fine but not extremely comfortable and since the hotel is in a court yard not a lot of air goes through the windows. A coffee and a pastry are the only options for breakfast
The location was amazing and the host was very nice. It had all the essentials and it was clean. The person at the bar where you have the breakfast is very friendly.

the elevator was scary and we felt like we were the only people there!
Breakfast was pastry and caffe. The owner was extremely nice. But the concierge told us about a tiny great restaurant to have dinner which was a bonus because the food was terrific, special and the owner was a history buff like us.

Breakfast is included in the booking. The hotel has kind of partnership or contract with a Cafe, which is supposed to be in the same building. As me and my family went for breakfast, the cafe was closed. After enquiry through WhatsApp, I got an address of another cafe which is at the 5 minutes walking distance. After reaching there, we were supposed to choose one coffee and one croissant 🥐 or something similar. I consider this more of a snack rather than a breakfast. If the price of breakfast is included in the booking, then it should be a proper breakfast (not just a snack and coffee)
* Central Location * Clean Room with modern styling and amenities. * Good Wifi Information: The elevator 🛗 is supposed to carry luggage only.

We didn’t like the fact that all information about the place was relayed in Italian half an hour before arrival by text message. It took an hour to decifer all the information eg codes etc into English. We were sitting in a hire car in a no parking zone all that time because we didn’t know where to go or how to get in to the room. We were mislead about the room that we booked. We booked a room with a terrace and city or landmark view. There was no terrace or view. The room was very small. Sitting on the toilet was a challenge as there was no knee room between the toilet and shower. The facilities were basic. The host was unhelpful.
The breakfast was basic but fine. However the breakfast vouchers were delivered to our room at 11.10 pm by a random person knocking on the door. We were in bed.

Room very small, both bashed our shins on sharp, cornered bed, in small room. Almost got stuck in faulty lift. Terrace was disappointing.

Nothing. Absolutely first class.
Easy check in. Great communication. Clean, comfortable, quiet and yet great location. We were allowed to store luggage after check out which was a travel saver. Highly recommended.

It was 42 degrees outside and air condition didn't work (only fan/ventilator), we couldn't breath in the room, it was hot as the hell there, nightmare for which we had to pay, the administration was extremely rude and blamed us on a lie. The most unpleasant experience ever.
