Beautiful property surrounded by a lovely garden, peaceful and perfectly maintained. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, and the staff were kind and attentive. Ideal place to relax and explore nearby towns like Alberobello and Ostuni. Highly recommended!

We were travelling around Pulia by train. The property is two bus rides or a 20 minute (40 euro) taxi ride away from Fasano station. So fine if you have a car but need to plan carefully if using public transport. That said, whilst buses are limited we were able to work it out and there is a stop next to the property. Its 2 euros each way to the square which acts as the bus hub in Fasano (Viale della Resistenza) where you need to change buses to get to Fasano station or Locorotondo. We visited in mid-October, by which time the visitor season was winding down and Selva was very quiet. That meant there were very limited options for evening meals locally. Whilst the hotel breakfast was fantastic and they offered drinks and lunch, the hotel did not operate the bar in the evening, which seemed a missed opportunity for them and for guests. Equally, as they do not do dinners that compounded the lack of evening meal options in the village when we were there.

When researching hotels in Puglia, I came across a review that simply said, “Do not skip this hotel”, and I’m so glad I listened. I usually leave short reviews, but this place truly deserves more than just a quick comment. Check-in was seamless and stress-free, available until 8 PM. We were warmly welcomed, helped with our luggage, and given a tour of the property. A thoughtful bottle of Prosecco awaited us in the room as a honeymoon gift, a lovely touch. Our room was spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, complete with a sauna-style shower. The gym, although compact, was impressively equipped with modern machines and provided fresh water. My only suggestion would be to consider adding air conditioning, as it did get a bit warm, though this may depend on guests keeping the door closed properly. Breakfast was a highlight. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and it’s clear the ingredients are sourced directly from their own gardens whenever possible. The staff were exceptional, attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Housekeeping was discreet and efficient; our room was cleaned each morning during breakfast, with toiletries replenished daily. The pool area was peaceful throughout the day, with plenty of loungers available so there was no need to rush. While the pool water was on the cooler side, it was refreshing under the sun. Fresh towels were available daily, and the area remained spotless all week. If I could suggest one upgrade, it would be to offer more luxurious loungers to enhance the poolside experience. As for some of the negative reviews I saw, in my opinion, they’re largely unfounded. From what I observed, the hotel listens to guest feedback and acts on it whenever possible. There was a light lunch menu available until 2:30 PM, and drinks could still be ordered after that, though I assume this may vary in the off-season. Regarding mosquito bites, this seems to be a common complaint, but it’s hardly the hotel’s fault.

No bar service after 7pm which means no aperitif in the evening . Hotel advised that guests cannot bring their own drinks. Perhaps an Honesty Bar could be set up if staff aren't available after 7pm . Shame no meals served in the evenings .

Small hotel set in well cared for extensive gardens. Room size excellent. Friendly helpful restaurant staff. Excellent breakfast and good choices for lunch.

Anything, everything was great. Maybe the sheets could be better, but they were ok.

Absolutely everything. The building, the pool, the gym, the staff, the location (in the middle of everything: Alberobelo, Lido le Machie, Ostuni, etc). The “strata panorámica” was a great surprise, you can get to see the elefants and giraffes from the Zoo with the sea at the back, beautiful!

The location is very nice, also the area is calm and somehow elegant, breakfast was really good with lots of options. I recommend taking time for the pool for at least few hours.

The room was fantastic. Stayed in a delux. Was a little truli with a steam room in the shower. Breakfast was really good. Staff were amazing , delayed flight and late checkin was no problem at all.

What a beautiful hotel, so well presented, the most welcoming staff and unrivalled facilities - the grounds are manicured and full of fruit and herbs so the breakfast included home grown produce

We really enjoyed our stay at Borgo dei Lecci Puglia. 🌺 Our room (how special to stay in trullo), beautifully managed garden, breakfast... and everything! My husband could use the gym sometimes. The staffs were very kind and helpful too. The only thing we missed was we couldn't use the swimming pool because of the weather. That will be next time!

Woah! Who knew that there is a huuuuuge hill to get down to next town and beaches. This was a surprise- but soon came to be an OK part of the stay. The property and staff- amazing!

An alarm went off at three AM (and again a bit later) because apparently there was a spider on the camera. But others said the power went out. Regardless, it sounded like world was 3 and was not a peaceful first night.

Peaceful place for adults to rest and relax. Beautiful pool area with comfortable sun loungers. Lovely rooms. Clean. Quiet. Beautiful gardens and flowers.
