Whilst I cannot fault the room overall, the property description I understood and envisaged was not necessarily the reality; it was a room and not a room in a guest house. The address that Google Maps navigates you to is actually a travel agency further along the street. Our contact for our stay was Raffaele who was helpful and kept in touch using WhatsApp. It is necessary therefore to contact Raffaele to successfully guide you to the actual property address.

Corte’s House comprises two rooms in a residential apartment building centrally located in Sorrento. We booked the triple room which comprised a queen and single bed. The room is located on the second floor of the apartment complex and there is a small lift to assist with luggage; although you will need to navigate the last few stairs. The room is located behind a shared front door. It is large and light filled with two opening windows plus another in the bathroom. The bathroom is modern and very clean; great shower. The room is equipped with a small bar fridge, tea & coffee. A pod machine with pods is also supplied.

1. Curtain malfunction, only hangs halfway 2. Noisy sounds of keys n doors whenever immediate neighbour access entrance. 3. No shampoo provided.

1. Great location in the heart of Sorrento. From the lane just next to Raki (good ice cream place) head straight on past Hotel Astoria on the right to unit. 2. Spacious. Good lighting. 3. Lots of English channels on TV

Communicate with the host well in advance of your expected check in times to avoid waiting.

Location was perfect. Very central and 4 mins from the marina. Host sent a very detailed list of recommendations and also outlined a very well planned itinerary for our stay. Apartment was modern and well finished.

The shower pressure and temperature were terrible. There was very little hot water. There were ants in the bathroom. We did send a message about the shower to our host but nothing changed.

The location was brilliant and easy to find. It was central and no issues with noise. We didn't meet our host but communication was good via WhatsApp. We got some really great recommendations for places to eat in sorrento which were amazing.

We had a problem one of the days with ants but the cleaner came in and washed the floors. This seemed to get rid of most of them. But still very good value for money.

We needed to request some fresh towels/housekeeping, even though we had a 4 night stay. The room would sometimes smell like cigarette smoke. FYI. The downstairs (permanent) neighbours had a very noisy dog that would bark a lot.

The overall cleanliness was a little poor with marks and dirt visible on the floor. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was not attended to during our stay. Also, while street noise was never an issue however should there be guests staying in the adjacent apartment the small corridor is shared and others can be heard when entering/exiting the property.

The apartment is located in the centre of the town close to all the shops and restaurants. It is situated on the 2nd level with a few flights of stairs however there is a small service lift to assist with luggage.

The entry was a little dark Our very late arrival could not be accommodated and staff had to meet us specially.

Room was very modern and beautiful Very comfortable for 3 persons. Heating very adequate. Supplies for a comfortable stay very adequate. Location fantastic. So close to everything. We needed a ride from the airport and a nice car and driver met us, tho flight was very delayed.
