Excellent the host picked us up from the train station at 8.30pm Ideal location 10 minute walk to get the bus to the Abbey lots of bars and restaurants within a 10 minutes walk Breakfast was lovely Would highly recommend

The only way to open the house door is via a website - being old-school, I would've appreciated a physical key (e.g. what if your phone breaks) Cassino itself is a kind of quirky town - if you are not here to see the abbey, not much reason to loiter around

Super kind hosts - GRAZIE MILLE for your hospitality , warm welcome and food Fabulous breafkast Stylish modern clean rooms of reasonable size Common kitchen area w/ large fridge - convenient if travelling as a group and/or cooking together (you also get smaller fridge in your room) Great shower Powerful A/C Easy parking in the street behind the corner (I recommend EasyPark app) The jacuzzi room was really something!! :-D Clear check-in instructions - if you are a person who loves reading through a 3 pg. A4 manual shared over WhatsApp on how to close a bathroom window , all that after you spent the day driving in 40*C on Italian motorways... look elsewhere ;-)

The bed was a bit hard .

We had a problem with our hire car and can speak no italian and the owner and the lady serving breakfast got it sorted for us .

Breakfast was basic. Would have liked some fresh produce ie tomatoes. Would have been nice to meet the actual owners.

The only reservation I have is a small one but I thought the breakfasts (included in the price of the room) could have offered more choice such as fresh fruit salad, orange juice, yoghurt and less sugary pastries.

The accommodation was very clean and well renovated and decorated. It had a small balcony with a table and chairs so I was able to sit outside if I wanted to. The accommodation is also located in the centre of Cassino and close to cafes, bars and restaurants. The proprietors went out of their way to help me get to those sites that I wanted to visit. They also put me up for an extra night when a train strike prevented me from travelling to my next destination.

There was nothing we did not like.

The rooms and breakfast were excellent, the owner was very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Don't be put off by the street view.

We had a lot of issues entering the unit when we arrived late night. Other than that is was good.

This is a newly renovated and very clean apartment. The breakfast staff was very friendly and nice. Location was good, but a little walk to Main Street.

we were not told that the lounge/kitchen area outside the room would be shared with strangers. The digital access system is disaster unless you have international roaming phone account

Property once access was sorted out it was fine but the shared let was not satisfactory nor was the issues with getting access

The communication as to how to gain access was extremely confused at BEST also we were not made aware that two other groups of guests were in the property along with our two groups - so we were domiciled with people we didn’t know nor wanted to be with.

It would have been nice to have had a REAL person check us in and welcome us. We had a whats app message giving us quite complicated instructions of how to enter the apartment with various codes etc. We arrived tired after a long drive and walked for ages trying to find the main square and restaurants that were open. We never did find either! A personal contact at check in would have been extremely helpful in pointing us in the right direction. The bed was shockingly hard, sore backs and hips the next morning. So if you don’t mind an extremely hard bed and don’t mind being checked in with whats app this room will suit you.
