The rooms below were noisy and we heard next door late at night doing late night activities.

We loved everything about our stay at Camaro, from being picked up at the port to the stunning pool area to our room. It was one of our favourite stays in Sicily while on our honeymoon and are already planning our return visit.

I am a returning customer and came back for my wedding with my guests. I purposefully booked my previous large apartment with a terrace a year ago. When I arrived, I was given a much smaller apartment with no terrace. There is no manned reception so was very difficult to sort. Once I met the director they told me that my apartment was booked by someone else and that I made an error in my booking which was not the case. Once I showed him my receipts, he said he would try to move me in. However I then did not hear anything back, and no response on WhatsApp either. I was therefore reluctantly forced to stay in the tiny apartment and could not entertain my guests. I was extremely disappointed as this was a monumental life event which I planned far in advance. And to not have any communication was difficult. They didn’t make any special effort with us at all. Especially when we spent a lot of money for our room and all our guests. Thank you to Davide the driver who was my only point of communication and he gave us some drinks on the house and was very apologetic for his manager. No pool towels No restaurant so no food available No welcome drinks No change in towels Very limited tiny bottles of body wash/ toiletries that aren’t restocked during stay Doors difficult to lock

Hotel is close to the town and has a nice pool.

We would have liked a coffee machine or kettle but this would not stop us from recommending the place.

Camaro is the perfect place to stay on Favignana. Location is great, close to everything. The apartment is spacious and fully equipped. ( except for a kettle/ coffee machine?) Davide was fantastic, incredibly helpful and friendly- nothing was too much trouble. The pool area is lovely with the added bonus of the bar . We loved the quiet of the island while staying here and we were very comfortable!

Rooms could be cleaner but cleaning stuff extremely friendly and reacts positively!

It was a fantastic stay! Staff picks you up by car at the harbour and drives you back for your departure. This service is included and is one major reason why I would book this hotel again as a solo traveller instead of another one where you need to organize it by yourself. In addition, the pool area is super clean, the hotel yard very calm and cozy. Staff is 24/7 available for any questions or services via Whatsapp. You are also able to book E-bikes in the hotel which was a fantastic idea to discover the island. The flat is very spacious and with a well-equiped kitchen. City center is by walk reachable within 10mins. In addition, the whole hotel area is enclosed by electronical fences that you can olny enter with a code. I felt super safe in the hotel.

Maybe add one extra pool-side umbrella. Also, we suggest adding privacy shades to the windows in the rooms. Right now, they only have night shades, but it would be nice to have some light without being visible from the common area.

The resort was quiet and comfortable. Nice rooms, comfortable beds. The pool area was nice.

Cleanliness and peaceful. We have stayed previously and standards are as good as ever. The staff are incredibly attentive and so hard working, especially Davide who is always there to assist and help or give advice! Such a credit to the establishment 👍

We stayed in one of the garden view rooms and the cleanliness in general was not up to scratch. The floors needed a thorough clean and the bathroom wasn’t well ventilated so it had some mildew and mould spots on the ceiling.

Very expensive for what you get, could have a more widespread breakfast including fruit. Would have been nice to have some water in the room. At night could hear the toilets and showers running from other bathrooms was very loud and disrupting sleep. Would have been to have bicycle hire.

We could have done with a private outdoor space and maybe a bit more living space. It would also be helpful to have some more shade around the pool.

It was clean and modern. The bedrooms were of a good size. The pool was the highlight!

Taxi service airport to hotel offered by the manager (dr Reina) was 270 eur…on the way back I called the taxi directly and price was just 180 eur…I find 50% mark up a scandal

We really loved everything, but the pillows were not supportive. This was the only thing we didn’t like.

The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful - thanks in big part to Marina. Our transfer to and from the ferry was a breeze. The bike rental recommendation and discount was great too, The apartment was very clean and quiet. We especially loved having the pool and an easy breakfast available in the morning. The most surprising amenity for us was the use of the beach club. It was a quiet spot away from the crowded beaches with friendly staff, snacks and drinks. Dario was our lifeguard but did so much to help us when we needed something. He went above and beyond. We absolutely loved having this space to enjoy the water and nature around us. We will be back!

Improvement suggestion 1) Breakfast Service lack behind the number of guests. Waiting time for a simple order like cappuccino and cornetto is way too long (up to 15-20 minutes). Either improve the current bar with another coffee machine and more croissant, possibly fresh (why not ordering them daily from a local bar, this will guarantee fresh crossaints just to warm up and not start from scratch with frozen cornetti to warm up at the hotel..) Or just provide a coffee machine with caps in each apartment and skip this service. 2) Towels and Bed Sheets Change every 3 days is too much for a summer location, where people are coming back from beach maybe sweat due to hot weather. Having them clean every 2 days at least is expected. We stayed 3 nights and we didn’t have bed sheets and towels changed..

Overall a bit run down. It’s a bit of a random apartment complex in a random area on the outskirts of the main town. But good as a base if you are out most of the day.

The large pool was great when we wanted a swim. Washing machines were useful. Free parking and sounds like the offered bike hire and shuttles to the ferry which we didn’t use. Apartments were very spacious and good for two couples. Staff were communicative and helped with recommendations.

The staff present on site (Luana) was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately this was not the case with the resort manager who never replied our mails and requests, very disappointing considering this was not our first stay and the level of the structure...
