Due to an issue in our room we were unable to stay at B&B Movie Dream however the staff accommodated us at another one of their locations in Messina and added breakfast (not previously purchased) as an apology.

Strangest stay I have had in Sicily. No breakfast, just a bed in a room. No contact with people. That said, despite being near the train station and the ferry, it was quiet until some construction started next door in the early morning. Bed was comfortable and Netflix TV made it better. 10am checkout was too early but used a Bounce location across from the station to store bag for the day.

not many baggage storage options in Messina so you need to arrange via message access to the building to leave your luggage if arriving early

The room was spotless. So clean, neat and spacious. The room we had was La Dolce Vita themed. Great novelty. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable, with a large shower. The location was wonderful, in close vicinity to the train station and also the port. Staff were wonderfully helpful and very responsive. fully equipped shared kitchen for all needs.

Disappointed with instructions on how to enter the property. I believe they could have been clearer, Once we finally gained access there where no numbers or names on the rooms . Breakfast was included but again there where no instructions on how or where we were meant to have it. So we just gave it a miss and went to a local cafe . It’s a shame the communication could have been better as the property was perfect for what we needed to be close to the ferry

Slightly tricky to find as tucked up a short passageway. If not for the signs at the entrance, I would have struggled to find! A little bit more information as to how to use the supplied QR code for accessing the premises would be useful.

Very close to railway station which was important for me on this occasion. Room perfectly adequate, clean and a decent shower.

There was an tendency to switch off electricity during high use.

Location nearby train station helps if you travel. Whole decoration with diffrent movies assigned to rooms was nicely done. To the city centre it is like 15minutes walk. Great place to start exploring Messyna :)

Everything was fine.

Excellent location, easy walking distance to ferry port and central train station. Easy and pleasant walk into Messina central town for trams & buses. Clean, modern rooms at very reasonable price. Communication and access details by WhatsApp were clear and correct and timeous. Communal kitchen facility was excellent, with large fridge and stove. The small restaurant/cafe/grocery store below the rooms was first-class, authentic Sicilian food and great value for money.

I had difficulty in finding the front door; the street numbering was difficult to understand. Fortunately the host was just a phone call away.

Very practical - close to the railway station and the ferry to the mainland.

It was a little hard to find in an older apartment building. But once we were in, it was a nice surprise to see such a fun and creative use of the space.

Cool place to stay and so close to the sights, the harbor as well as the ferry, bus and train terminals. Each room was newly renovated with a fun movie theme. Great value! We had AVATAR and we really loved the futuristic, modern bathroom. Super comfy bed and very quiet!

No breakfast, I am not sure that it can be classified as a B&B. We were given a room where the shower handle was completely broken, nuisance value after a long day of travel! Contact person was abrupt and rude. Noisy most of the night, across the road from the port.

Close to train station and ferry port. Access to shared kitchen. Very different, artistic design and decor. Clean.

There was a beep all night, also some other squeeking noise all night. Even with earplugs i couldn’t sleep. During the night power went off so i woke up in a dark room where no lights could be turned on, i also couldnt open the window or take a shower as showering in the dark was to dangerous. So i left my room pretty early, i contacted the contactperson about the power issue and the only answer i got is “yeah this sometimes happens”

We stayed in La Dolce Vita. Bed was uncomfortable, it was making sounds all night, it was difficult to sleep. Blanket was very thin for cold weather.

Location was great, it was near the train station. It was super easy to find. Easy check-in, checkout!! Bathroom was clean.

50 meters away from Misenna port and Misenna Central for the bus that takes you straight to the airport 17euro. Two cafes with great food Next door. The bad news is this B&B movie dreams is terrible and totally useless. Don't stay here simple. No power during the night and messaged owner no reply. Don't waste your money here.

Clean and spacious room. Excellent location close to central station. We appreciated the self check-in since we arrived late at night.

Air conditioner broken. Some furniture broken. A very bad thing that happened, is that during the night, someone entered in our room. And later, when I said to them, they treated me like if I was crazy.

It was quite clean

We booked the room with breakfast but did not get any. Even after asking for at least a refund of the breakfast we did not get that neither.

Neat room, very nice remote help from staff whenever needed Perfect location few minutes from stations and center, surrounded by restaurants. Nothing else needed for couple of days in Messine
