We were a group of 5 and there was plenty of space. We loved the layout and feel of the place. It was in an excellent location for traveling the Golden Circle and not from from Selfoss. Enjoyed the hot tub with the sun setting!

Thermostats weren’t intuitive so it took a long time to cool down house as it was very hot on arrival. Blinds in bedrooms had gaps on the sides that let in sunlight. Otherwise good

The apartment was fully equipped, really nice and spacious. It is just like in the pictures. The location is also great, really serene, but every sighting is quite close as it sits in the middle of the golden circle. Highly recommend this place!!

A really beautiful, spacious, modern little house. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, great to have laundry facilities and the hot tub too! Very good location for the Golden Circle. Close to Kerid Crater. We saw the northern lights when it wasn’t cloudy.

We have had a fantastic time! The accomodation is stunning and facilities are fantastic. We struggled with getting the car to accommodation but that was just circumstance due to the amount of snow that had fallen. We would definitely return

Because its so new we missed a few little things like opener for wine bottles, trash bin to split our garbage and plates to put the heated pans on. But overall everything great!

Amazing modern home! Lots of space and lovely jacuzzi. Couldnt expect and hope for more!! We’ve even seen the northern lights!!

The bedroom configuration could be better- ie, the bunk beds are in the room with a double bed rather than in the single room. Should they be in the single room? Also, being able to turn the outside lights off would make looking for the northern lights much easier!

The only downside was lack of hairdryer and clothes dryer because it was quite humid there.

No TV in master room or family room. No fireplace. Shower door did not keep all water inside shower area. Leaked water into bathroom floor.

The temperature in the rooms was too high and could not be lowered. It was not possible to keep the windows open constantly due to too many small flies outside. There were no instructions how to use the hot tube outside. Water in the hot tube was dirty and cold. This was a big disappointment. There was no hairdryer even if it was listed. Replies to emails from the staff was slow and not very helpful.

Nice new house, beautiful scandinavian interiour. House was spacious and had everything we needed in the kitchen.

I wasn't able to close the door in the hall and washroom. Especially in the hall the door wasn't working so felt a bit unsafe but the apartment was really good . Nice place , clean and fully equipped . I would recommend this place To the owner please fix the door and window

The terrace door is not closed. We tried everything. Anyone could enter the house from the terrace. Cold in the bathroom, about 18 degrees. No containers for segregating waste under the sink. It is not possible to turn on the bedside lamps in the bedrooms.

Spacious living room connected to the kitchen. The decor is as in the photos, everything as described. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Very nice place with potential. We think that the interior of the house needs a little pampering. But it was great to can spent evenings together and eat meals together in really nice place. We recommend it.

Outside lights (around entire house) remain all evening & all night. For aurora watching you definitely need to move well away from the house...you can't just go out on patio as too much light. Worst part of this is sleeping, only the bedrooms have shades and even those do not block out the light...windows in bathroom (including glass door) and all living room/kitchen do not have any shades or anyway to deal with this lighting. When we contacted to management company that looks after this place we were advised it was for security and that they could not be turned off...not sure what security they were concerned about as the glass door from bathroom to outside doesn't lock and was unlocked when we got there. Other neighbors certainly didn't have their lights on all night either. If it is for security - shouldn't they advise this is not a safe place to stay! Door to front patio is un-operational so can't directly access patio from living room. You have no control over heating - floor heating got very hot & no way to turn it down.

Mixed review as overall we loved this place from a style/view perspective BUT the negatives definitely took away from it. The place is beautiful, with lovely views. Lots of space, well equipped, very comfortable beds & seating areas. If not for the negatives it would have been our favorite place we stayed in Iceland :(

Washing machine door handle was broken so we could not do laundry. Huge disappointment as we were depending on laundry here. Both patio door locks were broken. The thermostat was very confusing. There was like 4 or 5 thermostats in the house. We lowered the temp setting on each one because it was so warm but it did not seem to make a difference. Opened windows for the whole time to cool off the house. P

Very spacious, gorgeous house. Very clean. Amazing views of the countryside. Super quiet. Close to so many amazing attractions.

Hot tub: The water was cold, and despite instructions to refill it via a bathroom hookup (to trigger the heater), we couldn’t locate the connection. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use it. Wi-Fi: While the network showed as connected, it didn’t work during our stay. We relied entirely on our mobile hotspots. General wear and tear: The property could benefit from some upkeep—loose door handles, a broken bathroom drawer, chipped drinkware, and a bathroom door that doesn’t lock.

Laundry: This was appreciated, but be aware that a single load takes around 4 hours to complete. The bathroom is spacious with great lighting, and the location does offer a peaceful, scenic retreat close to many attractions.
