One hand towel in drawer had fluff and hair folded neatly inside it. Minor issue: Sure, it's common when using driers, but the only negative we encountered.

Location is spectacular, so close to Urridafoss that the sounds are audible from the lodging and the spray visible. Beautiful apartment that is a feminine, spotlessly clean, nice smells, cozy beds, good linen, big space, fine decor and EXTRA coffee. Sparkling clean hottub. Great bath products, everything we needed to feel at home. If a 20 out of 10 was possible, this would be it.

The only thing we had a slight issue with was the heating. Our friends mentioned how great it was to have radiant heating on the floors, I would not have known they were heated. During the day the room warmed but at night it cooled to 21.5 C no matter what temp we set it on and the floors were cool to walk on. (Manager was very receptive reached out right away but we thought we had taken care of temp setting.). This was a minor blip that had we stayed longer I am sure would have been figured out and rectified.

The location was spectacular! It was set up beautifully and we really loved it and the convenience. (We literally walked a few minutes to the falls.) It was new and comfortable and had everything we needed including a washer/dryer unit, robes and slippers. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and strong. We would have booked it for longer had I known how lovely it was. Love that there was a private hot tub but unfortunately we never got to use it. We actually were able to watch for the northern lights from the place since it had a wall to wall window view. Never got tired of the view of Urridafoss falls.

The lodge was the best place we stayed in 3 weeks of traveling. The place is decorated beautifully, had nice products, a well appointed kitchen for cooking our own meals, the view is great, it was peaceful, the hot tub was such a treat to enjoy the sound of the waterfall and relax after exploring. The bed was comfortable and the owner was responsive to our needs. It’s easy to check in and out, place was very clean, and honestly was such a nice place to just enjoy Iceland from. Had the northern lights been visible when we were there you could have seen them perfectly. Would highly recommend!!!

It was all excellent. A very minor point; it would be good to have some cooking oil supplied. We brought our own supplies for breakfasts, but it would have been helpful to have some oil or butter already at the lodge. But it is only a very minor issue.

Comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated to a high standard. Well located & near Urridafoss Waterfall. Good communication with the host.

Fantastic place for a couple, well fitted lodge with laundry facilities and extensive kitchen equipment. Great location with lovely views from the terrace / hot tub. Close to Selfoss which had great food and shops.

Small issue: the remote was not working and we could not turn the tv screen off at night. It was solved the day after.

The lodge was just amazing. Fantastic view over the waterfall. Excellent appliances and services, including great coffee machine and hot tub outdoors.

Amazing location. Everything was exactly like the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. Check in and out were easy and the host provided great directions and information. Place was spotless. They really thought of everything.

washer and dryer is one unit, and we found it a little tricky to operate. owner was responsive though and helped us figure it out.

spectacular small home. views were incredible and we walked to the waterfall below when no one else was there. you do see the parking lot for Urridafoss but it just meant we knew when no one was there. we cooked dinner and breakfast in the small but well appointed kitchen. nice to have a washer and dryer. would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous place with breathtaking views of the river with the waterfall next door. High end Lodge with quality furnishings and exceptional facilities. On a clear night you will see the Northern Lights guaranteed, no need to travel anywhere. We saw them overlooking the lodge and in the hot tub itself which was high spec.

If you’re considering a stay here then definitely book it, you will not regret it! The scenery is breathtaking, the location is perfect and the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need. The cabin is fully kitted out with everything you can need and more and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the hot tub too which was amazing. We would love to come back one day!

- Limited hotwater - Family of three with less than 15 min of shower before the hotwater ran out. Upon contacting the owner we were told to wait until the next morning and implied that we used too much water - one of the parties ended up with no shower. - Far from convenience stores - go prepared with food and basic needs. - Extremely hot in the summer and you can't keep doors open for the breeze or you will be eaten alive by the bugs and flies (Yes, there are plenty of them in Iceland!). A/C for cold air does not work (as in most properties in Iceland). - In the summer, bring eye masks because it is extremely bright - front door is glass from top to bottom and have no curtain or blinds. - Nothing special about the hot-tub: it sits between walls at the front of the house (opposite side of the waterfall view); The cover is a pain to put back on and on the second day we didn't bother to use it.

Beautiful property, great views, peaceful. OK for a single night, not more.

No blackout curtains making it extremely difficult to sleep at night. Automated Floor heating which made the heat in the apartment hard to regulate so we had to keep the windows open. That meant bugs would come in as well as the natural sounds of birds, again, making it hard to sleep.

Very simple checkin process. The apartment was extremely clean and high quality fixtures. Everything was well stocked with good quality linen and towels. Location was amazing, with beautiful view of the waterfalls.

The waterfall is beautiful, but the first thing you see is the parking lot in front of it with tourists flocking in. The bathroom had no hooks to hang your towels anywhere, and it was not possible to change the temperature of the shower. The place is completely anonymous, you receive a code for the door and don‘t ever meet the owner/host. the website also doesn‘t give any information on who the host is. Seemed a bit weird.

Nice lodge, stylish design inside, big windows. Very clean. Private hot tub outside, also very clean.

Wish the living room had more comfortable furnishing to lounge on after a long day of hiking.

The location of the property is amazing. You can hear the waterfalls from the porch and hot tub.
