The house was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and perfectly located with stunning views all around. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Iceland — highly recommended!

Unlike most places, everything you needed for a comfortable stay was there. The cabin was clean and warm and comfortable with a wonderful rural setting. The hot tub was brilliant, the ambience was spot on and the host was friendly and informative.

The temperature of the hot tub could have been higher, we got a little cold after being in it for 20 minutes. We were initially a bit nervous that we couldn't lock the doors of the cabin to secure our belongings.

We loved the cosy and warm wooden interior and we instantly felt right at home. The host was helpful and responsive prior to and throughout our stay. The cabin is positioned to give incredible views of the northern lights from the hot tub and living room windows. The kitchen facilities were easy to use and we had everything we needed to self-cater. The location feels remote and private but is incredibly accessible. We were able to explore the breathtaking golden circle and were only a 15 minute drive from the town of Selfoss which has gift shops, restaurants and supermarkets.

The cabin is located just outside of Selfoss, which was perfect for our 3 days exploring Reykjavík, the Golden Circle and the south coast attractions. The views were stunning and the stay was very peaceful. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub was a lovely way to end the day.

Everything was great within this price and type of accomodation. The only tiny disadvantage was front door lock (you have to push the door pretty hard to turn the key).

Perfect place for northern lights observation. You can even get a notification from the owner when it's visible. The cabin is cozy and spacious, with a lot of natural light (you can also watch aurora through the big windows in case you are cold). The cabin is well equipped with comfortable beds, parking spot and place to chill out inside or outside. It has a unique, old fashioned style, with a lot of wood.

We were there during gale-force winds (bad), but the cabin was solidly built and did not even creak(good!). The owner told us the ferocious winds were unusual. The window on the door of the adjacent laundry room apparently shattered when the wind threw the door open sometime within a day or so of our arrival, but the owner had done a good temporary fix using masking tape on the glass. The broken window did not affect our stay in any way.

The property description was accurate. The property is located is a rural area near other vacation cabins and with good views of the countryside and a nearby stream. It is about 15 minutes from Selfoss, a major town in Iceland with good restaurants, etc. The host was very helpful. She gave us complete access to the laundry room on the property, and the equipment was excellent. Bad weather (heavy winds) prevented us from using the hot tub, but it was all set up for our use. I would rent the property again.

The location, the hot tub, the bed was comfy, as was the double sofa. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the stove and the oven worked perfectly and predictably. There’s almost no light pollution, we saw the Northern lights twice in six days.

A very cosy cabin in a beautiful location, very calm and with a nice view. Perfect to explore the golden circle. For shopping the town of Selfoss is close by. We enjoyed the hot tub and the warm atmosphere of the cabin. The owner was very kind and supportive.

Super cozy cabin located close to many attractions in the golden circle. Equipped with everything you need and run by a very capable and kind host. The hot tub proved to be amazing, especially for bad weather days

Absolutely beautiful cosy little log cabin, with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect for us, but close enough to get to the major sites with a rental car. The hot tub was amazing, especially after long days out exploring. This will forever be a special place to us, as we got engaged here and are already planning to come back after our wedding! Could not recommend this place enough!

Very private homely comfortable cabin. Hot tub very easy to use and able to adjust temperature and use jets. We were very lucky and watched wonderful display of Northern lights from the hot tub. Easy to drive to golden circle sites through interesting countryside.

Beautiful location, clean, tidy, easy to access, quiet, peaceful and fantastic hot tub always steaming hot whatever the weather! We were also super lucky to have seen the Aurora!

The living room is basically a greenhouse because of all the glass, so we weren't expecting it to get uncomfortably hot while we were out during the day. (In hindsight, we should have pulled down all the shades.) It melted our chocolate and it took us a while to cool the place down with some open windows and doors, which unfortunately let in some insects.

This cabin had plenty of room and was the most comfortable place where we stayed on our trip around Iceland. The living room has lots of comfortable seating. We were fighting off colds when we arrived, so it was nice to come to a place that had already stocked tea and a box of tissues. I wish we had an opportunity to use the hot tub; it looked nice.

The art decor was a bit strange but it added a quirky trait :)

It was in a lovely spot not too far from the main road or other cabins but far enough away that it felt secluded. On the edge of a small lake/large pond you hear plenty of birds/wildlife. My 5yr old felt comfortable walking around, to explore, (note that the lake was not easy to get to due to the boggy mounds so I never felt it was a hazard or a concern), she loved the sand pit and playpark area far more. Oh and we both loved the hot tub. The owner came by to say hello and was so lovely. We could use the laundry facilities and she made us feel very much at home. She lives local and should we have needed anything it was reassuring to know she was reachable.

Breakfast is not included but the location is perfect for northern lights viewing. A beautiful cabin with amazing hot tub. Not too far from all the attractions in South Iceland. This is a great place to stay with your family, we had a toddler and he loved it.

Great localization, hot tub is amaizing even in bed weather. The cabin is fully equpied You can find there big fridge, oven, dishwasher, hairdrayer, coffe, tea. I really recomended this place.

It was a very dirty cottage. The bathroom had not been cleaned. Hair both in the sink and in the shower. Wc paper not flushed! Dust on the floor. When we signalled it to the owner, she just said - I’m very sorry, it’s the cleaner’s fault. When I said that it was not acceptable for 230 euros a night, the owner said that we could leave. It was 22:15 in the evening! We had been driving the whole evening as we got an evacuation sms from the previous location. The owner did not want to make any effort or show any understanding. The rest of the cabin was dirty too - spider webs at the lamps, walls with stains. The cottage is also quite old, one chair was almost broken. The hot tub is from rubber (did not try it as doubted the cleanest). The decor was also shocking - stuffed birds! That was not in pictures when we booked the cabin. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

The bed not being made up . After a hectic day travelling it would have been nice if the bed was made, not a huge thing but always nice and inviting to see a prepared bed.

The location was great as was the hot tub. The cabin was warm and clean on arrival.
