Busy and big, made it feel a bit impersonal, although all staff were helpful.

Great central spot in town. Friendly busy pub with live music, which surprisingly didn’t disturb you in your room.

The bar gets a little crowded at times.

The room was upstairs above the hotel. The live music is low key and over by around 10pm. The room was recently refurbished, spacious and very comfortable.

Our only small reservation is that parking was pot luck street parking. We always found somewhere on adjacent streets. It was a short walk with your suitcases. This wouldn't put us off staying again, just need to be aware.

What an experience this turned out to be, central to the shops and facilities the location was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room exceeded our expectations. Added to all this "living" above the pub was fantastic, food (breakfast and dinner) and drinks downstairs and live music too, we almost didn't need to go out.

There wasnt anything we didnt like

On our road trip around Ireland, we booked into O’Donnabhain’s in Kenmare—a historic gem dating back to 1775. We were pleasantly surprised to find our rooms newly renovated, fresh, clean, and very well appointed. Dining at the gastro pub downstairs was a true delight—hearty, delicious, and very filling. The combination of historic charm, comfortable accommodations, and excellent food made our stay very enjoyable. We left very happy and would highly recommend O’Donnabhain’s to anyone visiting Kenmare.

The sofas weren't great. They were way too low and soft. The showers were a bit erratic, the water temperature would change randomly from hot to cold

The apartment was spotless, immaculately clean. It was fresh and extremely well kitted out. Very spacious and comfortable and in excellent condition. Location couldn't be better.
