There stairs above our room were creaky and sounded loud in the room, waking us at night and early morning. Also the shower drain was blocked and overflowed every time we showered. We told staff about the issues and were told we could move rooms the next day, but this never materialised, and no solution was found. A shame because this kind of ruined it for us.

Room nice and bed really comfortable. Staff were really helpful in guidance with local knowledge. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked to order. The location was also fantastic, central but quiet neighbourhood at night. The setting was lovely and it felt relaxing there.

There are lots of stairs - our room was in the basement but the staff kindly took care of carrying our luggage.

Shower water goes everywhere so the floor can be slippy.

The breakfast was delicious! French press coffee. Homemade bread and jam that went along with your main entree. The spinach and mushroom egg florentine was excellent.

Didn’t like the benches at breakfast ; you feel you are in someone else’s conversation ; was a bit uncomfortable ; also my taxi driver couldn’t find the hotel, there is no obvious signage for it and it’s quite hidden, had to call to get the location even though we had actually passed it!

We prefer showers that close completely, so as to not get water all over the bathroom floor and risk slipping! These modern baths everywhere seem to have wide areas that stay open, and I will never understand why, other than that they are cheaper to install

Room was lovely, bedding excellent quality. Many nice touches in the room both for decor and good coffee and treats in the room. We really loved the breakfasts, which were in a nice and bright room. All the staff were very sweet and professional. A maid caught up with me as we were checking out because she'd found our phone charger--very thoughtful.

The mattress was very old and lumpy, and prevented us from having good quality sleep which was disappointing as we loved every other aspect of the stay

The staff were lovely, the ambiance and interior design of the hotel are great, absolutely loved the outdoor firepit. And was breakfast each morning was lovely.
