I was very happy with my experience at Davitt's guesthouse! David and Brian were both excellent hosts, and were extremely helpful, even accommodating me for a second night when I realized I'd need another day to hike Killarney NP and drive the Ring of Kerry! The full Irish breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed chatting with David and Brian about my travels and their family-run business. A charming B&B/restaurant in the charming town of Kenmare!

David and staff went above and beyond to assist us. They not only provided clean rooms and an excellent centralized location, but they also were spot on with recommendations of places to go, pubs to frequent, where to shop, and the like. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Kenmare.

Absolutely nothing negative

Room and common areas were spotless, bed was very comfy so got a good night's sleep. Most important for us was secure parking at the rear of the building, we don't like leaving the motorbike on the street. Had an evening meal and breakfast in the guest house both were excellent especially the breakfast of butter nut squash on sour dough bread with pesto, spinach and feta cheese topped off with two poached eggs on top.. delicious......... Fantastic location on the main street (parking available on side streets)-friendly welcoming staff (family run)- superb comfortable quiet room with bath/shower, and all you could possibly want in a breakfast! -thank you

Everything was perfect. David who did the check in for us was amazing and very friendly. The position of the guesthouse is the best you can imagine and the room is over every expectations. Everything smells very good and clean. Everything is very clean. The room was huge and the bed extra comfortable. We thought we were in 5 star hotel. We loved everything and we would like to go back 💯

In a great position on the Main Street , was a little tricky as very busy when arriving so had to park on another street and walk with bags , luckily weather was dry. Staff were lovely. Room spacious. Perhaps a little dated for some but was great for us. Breakfast was lovely too, although wine in the bar was a little expensive, had a Lovely little stay

Family-run hotel and restaurant. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was very nice, spacious, and clean. Breakfast was very diverse and delicious. Highly recommended 😊

What a wonderful place! The rooms were big and comfy, and the breakfast was excellent. We were right downtown with lots of pubs, restaurants, and shops. David always took the time to say hello and inquire about our day. Kenmare was a wonderful town.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room with tea and coffee.

The breakfast was excellent. It was the best one we had on a two-week trip and that staff was wonderful.

Central, free parking directly outside, amazing staff so friendly and welcoming, this place really was the best in so many ways. We asked for a recommendation from Jack’s bar in Glengarriff and he sent us to Davitts- so glad I asked as it was spot on and exactly as ‘Jack’ described. Food is top notch, melt in the mouth and plentiful. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable.

breakfast was perfect my room looked on to the building opposite close enough to touch with no view . i loved it been looking at beautiful scenery all day my eyes were worn out the room was immaculate the food in the restaurant was stunning with great service would definitely stay again i would even ask for the same room.

A small complaint that a desk person was sometimes not there. Sometimes a one person operation. The tub shower could use a grab bar.

None, do note that you'll hear music if you're facing the street, but not if you're facing the back. Also there is no lift and the rooms are on the second and third floor on narrow stairs so pack light.

The customer service was attentive, generous and kind. Food at the restaurant downstairs in the evening and breakfast in the morning was amazing. Facilities were clean, spacious and comfortable.
