Staff weren’t very interactive. I was waiting for a visa renewal and had to extend my stay. Their advertised price out the front was less than what I paid via booking.com They tried to charge me the higher price until I insisted they give me the advertised price

No water in bathroom sink. Very hard to get a response from staff as they weren't around in the morning and never answered messages or phone, so I had trouble checking out and paying, and basically wasted the morning. Was intending to collect my bag later but didn't want to risk not being able to find any staff. Booking price was 25% more than the walk-in price. No breakfast or tea facility.

Room was ok and I was able to check in at 11.30. Hot shower. The little garden is nice.

No tea making facilities in room but accessible kitchen near reception.. AC dripped into bathroom so the floor was always wet. The lighting was either very bright or very dull, no thing in between

The room was unfortunately not very clean. My mattress smelled like all the people who had slept there before me, and I even found a hair that was not mine in the sheets. The bathroom also did not look like it had been serviced or cleaned before I arrived. TV did not work at all. Also note that the hotel only takes cash. This was a shock to me.

The staff was very friendly, and the location was great. Included breakfast of eggs and toast was a nice touch as well. The grounds were nice, and have the potential to be even more beautiful with more upkeep.

The a/c wasn’t very cold. We booked the Borobudur trip through the staff and woke up at 3:30 to go on the Monday morning…..the driver turned up and said it is closed on a Monday, surely the staff should have known this or been informed before accepting the booking. We weren’t the only ones who suffered this fate. A frustrating experience that not many others would likely face, nevertheless.

Nice place overall and excellent value for money. Nice art.

Room and bathroom could have been cleaner but I've seen way worse. The most important things (bed and toilet) were good.

Nice Garden, fresh sheets and towels, good AC. In some reviews people were mentioning the closeby mosque being too loud but it was absolutely ok in my opinion.

Even though at the time of booking, it was saying that we can pay with our credit cards but when we checked in, we could not. It was a big problem for us, seven people. Many of us did not have Indonesian cash. The hotel is kind enough to wait for us to pay till the last night, though.

The more you get to know the hotel staff, the more kind they get.

Very nice place with cozy rooms. Friendly and helpfull staff. We arrived super late due to train issues and still, we were welcomed, room was ready.. happy to have choosed this hotel. We stayed 2 nights 👌🏻

I basically left the place cleaner than when I found it. The bathroom was dirty (trash bag with former person's stuff inside, toilets not flushed, cup/soap dispenser dusty). The surfaces were dusty and I suspect only the bed was made "fresh" for my arrival. There was also no water bottles offered & no TV remotes in my room.

The outside garden is very pretty and the location is nice as well. Staff is friendly. OK for a short 1-2 nights stay max.

Wi-Fi unreliable

Classic Javanese style, red brick outside, white brick inside, lots of lovely wood, beautiful garden full of birds and butterflies. Great aesthetic values, super charming. Very clean. Outstanding location. Breakfast is fine. We had fried noodles and eggs. Very inexpensive. I really love this place. it’s beautiful, charming, and a fantastic value. Lots of individual character. Only complaint is that the Wi-Fi is not very reliable.
