Be prepared for a lot of steps/ stairs. Would like to have a few utensils in the unit. My wife also would liked to have some tea bags.

It was all 100% excellent!

Private transfer from the airport was excellent, George looked after us and showed us through the old town to our stunning apartment! What a view! Apartment was beautifully furnished, gorgeous colours and lovely soft furnishings. Beds really comfy.

Everything about our stay at the Riva Apartments was wonderful. Our friendly host met us on the Riva and walked us to our room, showed us around. The apartment was wonderful - just as pictured if not better. It has a gorgeous view, comfortable living space, nice bedrooms and modern bathroom. The location is also excellent - a short walk to everything. We were only able to stay in Split for one night but we would have been comfortable staying in this apartment for a week - very roomy and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, and he was able to give us a late check-out, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed! 10/10

We did have to haul our heavy suitcases up a lot of stairs. Parking was not cheap but understandable for the area.

The location was fantastic. We loved being able to look out over the Adriatic sea and watch the boats come and go. It was nice being in the area of the palace with all the restaurants, bars, and activity.

You will not find a better location, this is in the heart of Split, right inside Diocletian's palace, surrounded by history . When you walk out the door there is an oversupply of excellent restaurants, tourist shops, markets and ATM's. The front door (of the palace) is on the harbour, you are only metres from the water, boat hire and ferries to the islands. It was super clean with white linen (our first requirement when we book anything), excellent breakfasts available at the hotel next door, and free WiFi. It has good security, but the area is 100% safe anyway, we stayed out late. If I ever go back to Split (I intend to do so--there is still much to discover), this is where I will stay again.

It’s not the property’s fault but just beware that this close to the church you will hear the bells at 6am and 7am and basically all day on a Sunday

There are two flights of stairs to climb to get to room, but George is willing to help with bags. The beds are a bit firm and the kitchen is tiny with no dishwasher. Overall, not many complaints.

Wonderful location right in the heart of Diocletian's Castle. In fact, the room is inside the castle walls, overlooking the promenade and port while less than a 5 minute walk to other historical sites like the bell tower and chapel. George was an incredibly attentive host.

Honestly there was bit of noise from some place across the road but with the shutters closed it was fine.

The property is beautiful and in a perfect location near ferries, buses, many many restaurants and the old town sights. George was amazing and ever so helpful and approachable. We really thought it a perfect apartment. Beautiful views out of all our rooms in Ceasar apartment.

If I have the opportunity to make it back to Split I will stay in this beautiful apartment as it was just a perfect location and it had everything you could want. Thank you George for your help we loved it.

The location was a blessing and a curse. Very central, right by the port and the old town so everywhere was very accessible. BUT this also meant it was so noisy. Music from the bars started up at 10am and continued until 2am. Maybe this is because we were there in August. Might be quieter out of season. There was constant banging, voices and the walls with the next door apartment were thin so you could hear a lot. I would have liked a bin in the bathroom and the apartment itself was very small. We booked a two bedroom for our teenager and my husband and I and it felt like there wasn’t a lot of room to move around, store cases, relax in the ‘living room’. The bathroom door was very flimsy. Looked like it was a temporary fix.

The aircon was very good, quiet and really effective especially when the temperature outside hit 37. The rooms were well furnished with enough utensils in the kitchen to prepare small meals like breakfast. Beds were comfy too.

Talk about being right in the centre! You can sit on the (small) balcony and watch all the to-and-fro on the Riva and then walk out the front door into the palace, in fact you are in the palace. George, who met us was super helpful and communicative.
