Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was a little bit too firm but that was very minir
Great location, it was so close to town and the harbour. But it wasn’t noisy at all. The owner was really helpful and gave us suggestions on places to go as well as checking in that we had everything we needed.

The bed is a little too hard for me, but I don’t mind it that much. It’s just a matter of taste.

Property was within walking distance of the pier, church, restaurants, souvenir shops (all under 10 minutes). Grocery was across the street.

It didn’t bother me but to note that anytime other people were coming or going from their rooms you would hear it very clearly, I never heard people when in their rooms just when in the hall it was super noticeable. Similar to this my room was facing the road so you will hear traffic from this, again it didn’t bother me but just to note for anyone that is a super light sleeper.
Location was perfect, within 5mins to the old town. Supermarket right opposite & a popular cafe too. Mirna checked me in and went through the area, where to eat, beaches, transport etc was super helpful and said I could contact her at anytime! Fresh towels on daily if needed, Fridge in the room, room and bathroom were super clean.

Nothing really, just that the fridge could be a bit quieter but that really is not a real issue.
Overall a great clean room located just 10 minutes away from the heart of the old city. The host is very kind and helpful too, so I would definitely recommend staying there. The good part is that despite being close to the centre, it is mostly quiet at night, perfect for a good sleep.

Nothing that I did not like with full honesty.
We had an amazing stay! We had a very warm welcome by the owner, she did explained us everything and even turned on the air con before we arrive :) The room and the bathroom was clean. Location was just perfect, 8-10 min and you are in the old town. I fully recommend this bonus rooms :)

Just a very minor annoyance was the motion detector for the lights did not always activate. Very very minor issue.
The property is a short easy walk to downtown with a coffee shop and restaurant for breakfast nearby. The room was modern and up-to date. We had excellent communication with Mirna who greeted us upon arrival and showed us the room and provided valuable information about the area.

On a main road, though great because of the location, bad because you just hear cars and people all night. I’saw another reviewer who said the same and i made sure to bring some ear plugs. So i had a great sleep with my earplugs in. Just make sure to bring some earplugs when staying here
Location absolutely amazing, you’re basically inside split old town- less than 10 minutes walk to everything- Max walk is 20 minutes to the bus station and port . Comfy bed, great shower, close to loads of mini markets and restaurants , had everything i needed and great value for money!

Just a few minutes walk to the center made enjoying Split on hot days more enjoyable. The small touches in the room like coffee and tea made us feel welcomed.
