Nothing it was all fantastic!

The daily room clean, fresh linen and staff were very helpful. The location is. Short walk from the old town. We were even allowed to bring a pizza back one evening, a bottle of wine for a quieter evening. Breakfast was perfect too.

Parking was quite challenging

The property was ideally located minutes from the old centre in an incredibly quiet neighbourhood and pleasant pedestrianised street. It was so quiet we could sleep with open windows and didn’t hear a sound

We liked everything.

Great location, close to main attractions. Clean, modern room with large bathroom. Big comfortable bed. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast provided, there was a good selection and the omelettes were very good. Friendly, helpful staff.

Visible graffiti all around the streets outside of the historic old town was unexpected. Our host reassured us the neighborhood was quite safe, and we did feel safe after our few days visit. We would still highly recommend, and would stay here again no question.

We loved our stay at Balatura The Fine Bed&Breakfast. Our host greeted us warmly and was so accommodating to us. We needed help with laundry (after just completing a week at sail), and they were able to do for us same day. Our room was gorgeous, we had plenty of space, and were quite comfortable. The walk over to the historic old town was short and fun to walk through the local market. The breakfasts were so nice! We loved learning this is a family-run business, and the history of the property. The host was so sweet as she noticed my husband's birthday when she checked us in, and surprised us at breakfast with a small piece of cake for him :)

We wouldn’t change anything.

We loved our stay. The beds were so comfortable and it was lovely having a sofa in the room as well as the balcony. The shower was really hot and powerful. Everyone who we spoke to who worked at Balatura were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect (we especially liked the black bread and pastries) and we liked they provided blankets on the terrace in case it was chilly. A 5 minute walk takes you to the old town by way of a pretty neighbourhood and the food market. We caught the shuttle bus to the ferry port from the airport and from here it was just a 10 minute walk to Balatura (recommend you check a map for directions - Google works fine for this).

Nothing to dislike

A beautiful traditional hotel, which is just a short walk from the Old Town. The building has been renovated in such a sympathetic manner to ensure none of it’s charm has been lost. The staff excel when it comes to hospitality and kindness and do everything they can to pass on their love and knowledge of their city to ensure make the most of your stay.
