The location is good but it was a bit confusing to find at first. Perhaps some better instruction.

The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but it had everything needed.

Corridor smell going and elevator smell before reaching the unit. Only 1 room habe provatr bathroom 🤔 even we booked with private bathroom for both rooms.

The filipina is friendly. Good size with free water and toiletries. There is microwave also and fridge if you want to keep food. Block C also the elevator is not crowded unlike other block with lines.

Sadly the rooms were not very clean, we dealt with so many cockroaches during our stay to the point my friend had an allergic reaction, and that made sleeping an anxious experience. There was a load of old food & cigarette butts down the side of a cupboard that stunk & clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while & attracted more bugs, the room bins weren’t emptied regularly either. Bedding was stained and covered in hair. Some of the vents were not attached properly either which allowed more bugs to get in. It’s a shame because I really wanted to like staying here. I’m used to budget travel, like I said i’ve stayed in the mansions many times so know what I get is what I pay for, but compared to other places i’ve stayed at in the mansions this was a disappointment

I’ve stayed in the mansions a few times & the location is great, near everything you could need! the staff were also helpful enough when we needed something or had questions :)

The guest house is kinda hard to locate if you're not good with navigation, you also need to wait long for the elevator when it's peak hours, and it gets cramped.

Bedding has lots of holes and stains. As guests can smoke in the staircase the smell of cigarettes is everywhere. Entrance to building is full with sellers that want to sell you something and people using the entrance as a toilet and trash can.

Good location but entrance to the guest house is through a busy indoor market. Quiet in the etages.

There’s nothing to not like about the rooms we’re given for sure. The doors are secure and the rental property is clean, but the building itself might be a little too uncomfortable if you’re not used to this kind of accommodation in Hong Kong. The elevators were small, though they are quite quick and cater to specific floors. Finding the guesthouse took a bit of time as there were plenty of them in the building, and each block had a handful, so please review your guesthouse’s location properly. I also saw a lone roach near the elevator, but that’s to be expected as there were food and fresh fruits downstairs. They do not get in the property, thankfully, as that would be quite the problem.

Located in the Chungking Mansions, it’s literally just 5 minutes away by foot from Tsim Sha Tsui station through iSquare. Nothing beats that short distance after a long day of exploring! The beds were clean and comfy, as is are the bathrooms. The receptionists were kind and helpful. There is a common area with free to use microwave and hot water. The first floor of the building has a rich selection of Indian, Pakistani, Filipino, and even African food that are amazingly affordable, especially if you’re looking for big portions on a budget. There are also money changers and little market-style shops that sells toiletries, fruits, and gadget necessities. It could get loud and crowded, but if you’re used to this kind of setting, it shouldn’t be a problem. Most people just keep to themselves anyhow.

The noise - walls are really thin. The smell - every evening the room smelled like a kitchen. Possibly cause of bad ventilation in the building. The building - "hotel" is located on the 9th floor of a huge building, on the first floor you can find loads of Indian and Arab shops. And some people do all the time want to sell you something calling you "brother".

The hotel is located in a city centre and it's easy to get there. Towels were changed every day and the room was also cleaned.
