Accomodation is very easy. Staff very responsive in all the queries and helpful. They did an extra mile service. They clean the room daily. Change the towel and beddings. You feel safe because they have guard outside with cctv in the area.

It was incredibly hard to find, you need to go inside the currency exchange building, past a few shops, find lift A (this wasnt on my booking information and there are mulitple lifts).

Great location, nice to have a private room, lockable room, it had a fan and a clean (small) toilet/shower, towel and soap were also provided, didnt notice much noise either.

Weird people waiting on ground floor 24/7 trying to sell me drugs. Creepy people in the elevators from time to time. Piled up trash in the staircase with occasional cockroaches here and there in the hallway (no insects present in the guesthouse though).

Location. No problems with WiFi. Helpful host. No cockroaches present in the room. No need to bring specific HK adapters for sockets (international adapters included in the room).

A good hostel to stay at TST area in Hong Kong with Halal meal availability in the locality and the Train (MTR) Station few meters away.

The building. You are looking for the Chungking Mansions. If you google the Hostel/Hotel it will take you down the alley on the back side. It could use a revamp and also a Directory OUTSIDE. Quite easy to walk past it as there are MULTIPLE Hostels/Hotels in this building, Definitely could put more attention to cleaning the outside of the building. A lot of trash piled up outside the south side exit.

Great location. Close to metro and close to the pier. Also within walking distance to shopping etc. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay. The room was TINY but it was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Not much in the way of amenities. A lot of businesses ( mostly food ) on the first floor. It at first appears seedy and unsafe when you first walk into the building, however it turned out to be quite safe. A lot of tourist/transit traffic as well as local tenants. Try some of the food vendors . The curries are amazing. I'm not sure of the ethnicity , Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese ? Unsure, but the food was good. You get what you pay for. Once you get over that first impression it's not bad at all. Definitely a cultural experience if you are into that kind of thing. Just a lot of loud local people hanging out minding their own business. As always be aware of your surroundings.

Overall property is recommendable. Hostel is clean and staff very accomodating.

Sitting at a 90 degree angle on the toilet because there is no space for my knees. :-)

Clean room, friendly staff. Nice room with a big window. The location is perfect. C block is a good choice. The elevator is not as busy as for block A and B

It was super small. Both beds were not the size of one twin bed while they said in their advertisement that it is a twin bed. The window view was so bad and didn’t worsen to pay more. The toilet was so small with no place for taking shower. Bed covers were super dirty with trace of burning from cigarette. Room was full of dust and super dirty. There was no service in the area. They just gave us keys and disappeared!

No tv reception due poor/weak signal, hot water sometimes ok but most of the time not ok, noisy due to too crowded tenant, rubbish piled up from other rooms, is a nightmare for my 5days stay

boss is nice and he explained patiently how to enter and lock the door. hostel is cost effective compared with other similars in HK. It's clean!
