It was misleading to advertise as private room only to find out when checking in that the bathroom was shared. The bathroom seemed like it was not cleaned in ages. The bedrooms had the host's personal belongings laying around. The wardrobe was full of host's clothes

The family is quite friendly. The food was fresh and quite good with almost everything home made.

Price much higher (30%) than advertised (trap, scam? I dunno). Heavy smell of soot in the room, very bad for my allergy. Water working quite badly. Electricity in the bathroom that can kill you. I'm 178cm tall (so pretty average) and the bed was small!

Nice view, motorbike parking and wash.

If you're looking for a place to stay in the Caucasus mountains, in a sweet little village in Svaneti – this is the one. It’s more than just a guesthouse – it’s a true homestay, full of warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Already in the morning of our booking, the host reached out to ask when we would arrive and helped us with directions so we wouldn't get lost. She also asked in advance about our preferences for dinner and breakfast, so she could prepare accordingly – and let me tell you, the dinner was absolutely dreamy, simple and delicious, made with love and attention to our tastes. When we arrived in the village, the family welcomed us, took our heavy bags to help us (we came with bicycles), and did it all with a smile. Their son is such a sweet guy – he even offered to drive us to down ro village to buy water, but we ended up walking there on a beautiful 10-minute path with stairs, following his lovely directions. The view from their balcony is stunning, with peaceful mountains and the river all around. Highly, highly recommended. 🧡
