Wry comfortable and nice

The house is situated at the top of a hill. Might be inconvenient if you do not drive. We walked out for dinner and it was still bright but on the way back, it became dark, and it was very quiet to walk up the steep slope. Maybe we are just not used to this environment.

A very cozy house. We have the bedroom to ourselves and the kitchen, bathroom and living room is to be shared with others who booked the other bedrooms. The house is very beautifully decorated and is cleaned. We are ok with sharing and have made friends with the other tourists. The car can be parked outside the house. The host Niels is very nice and friendly! Thank you for hosting us!

The only thing that could be a challenge is that the house is locate in a hill, but you can take a taxi or carry your stuff.

The room had everything necessary for a more than comfortable stay. The location of the house is in a very beautiful and quiet place, perfect to rest. Niels and his wife help me with everything. They are very kind people that make the difference for the guests.

Nothing - all great!

It was great to have access to such a nice space to sit and cook and eat as well as sleep! Great host who provided a really welcoming environment with lots of extras like coffee and cooking essentials, with enough space for a number of guests to stay without being in each other’s way.

Lovely building and interior, great to have the use of the kitchen. Niels the host was helpful and welcoming. Nice breakfast and quiet surroundings. Very good price for the quality, would come back again!

Very kind and helpful host Niels. Room 2 is with toilette, was very convenient. Shower to share , was okay and clean. Kitchen is well furnited, fridge available. Anytime we would come back. We stayed for 2 nights.

The host was very friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived early at the location he did his best to get our room ready. The shared kitchen and the shared living room were in an excellent condition and very cozy. There was also plenty of space for our bikes and our luggage. Great value for money!

Large house in quiet neighbourhood with supermarkets nearby. We had a spacious room with the shared toilet next door. Plenty of space and fully equipped for cooking and eating meals. Locked cycle storage was excellent. We loved the place!

It completely met my expectations.

The location is just magical, on top of the hill with an amazing view of Svendborg. Niels is a truly caring host and available for enquiries anytime. The breakfast is great and there is also coffee and tea available anytime. The space is very clean and the bathrooms/showers as well. Very cozy house and beautiful yard.

Nothing major, but I'll try: The room was somewhat too cool in the evening for my taste. I tried to adjust the heater, but it didn't seem to help. It had a smart / IoT thermostat mounted, so I'm not sure if it was preprogrammed at a low temperature or if I simply didn't understand how to use it. I was able to pick a temperature, but I was unsure if I were able to confirm it. Didn't seem to make a difference in any case. The floor of the private toilet seemed soft, and maybe in the middle of being renovated (but no issues with the toilet and sink themselves). Both were very minor issues in my opinion, I enjoyed my stay overall!

Location was lovely, with a fantastic view of the city from atop the hill. Room was nice, clean, and quiet. The guest house was the same: nice, comfy, and clean. Seemed like it had good amenities even if I didnt stay long enough to try them. Great info from the host prior to my arrival, no issues with finding my key and room. Only managed a very short chat with the host as I was leaving, but he was very kind and interested in sharing tips and info. I would definitely recommend the place for others traveling solo or in pairs! Great price compared to other places, too, especially considering I booked last minute.

I would recommend choosing one of the rooms that is not directly adjacent to the communal kitchen if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in. I believe it is the Triple Room on the Ground Floor. Someone was in the kitchen around 6:00 a.m., and it was possible to hear everything. Then another group showed up at 8:00 a.m. They were talking softly, but it was still loud.

This is a nice budget accommodation if you are staying in Svenborg. We arrived late and caught the ferry in the morning, so it worked for us. There is a fridge with a shelf, if you are traveling with perishables. Check-in does not require meeting the owners, which is helpful.
