The hostes are an amazing people, i felt like i was at my grandpa and grandmas house, we had everything we needed and much more, the place is beautiful with a pool and really good outside kitchen, the place sitting on a small waterfall and it was one of the best places ive ever been in. For sure ill recommend to visit there for a few nights.

Had an amazing stay here for 2 nights whilst we visited the falls. Reading the reviews beforehand we had the idea the hosts were very hospitable and we completely agree. They don’t speak any English but through gestures, broken Portuguese and a bit of google translate you’ll be able to communicate. Silvio transferred us to and from the airport and helped us enormously when we went to view the falls from Argentina. He drove us through the boarder to the park and helped us buy our park and boat tickets. He also picked us up at the end of the day all for a very reasonable price - would highly recommend going with him if going to Argentina as without it would have been very tricky to coordinate. Lastly he drive us into town for free when we went out for dinner.

I felt right at home at this beautiful place. The sound of the river while falling asleep is mesmerizing. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. The couple who run the place are the nicest people you will meet. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Nothing! Only, maybe, that the road is quite downhill, so walking into town is a bit steep, but no problem at all. It is totally worth staying there!

Such a lovely place! The owners go out of their way to help and make the stay magnificent. The owner even drove us to town one day, helped with transport otherwise, and had a lot of helpful information. The room was also great, hearing the nearby waterfall at night was very calming, as was chilling in the private pool after a hard walking day at the falls... ;) We really felt at home!!! A very green and natural home. The location is also quite close to everything in town, and the bus to the falls passes the main road like 4 blocks from there, so it's very convenient.

Cachoeira dos Passaros is an amazing place - a little oasis in Foz da Iguazú. The owners received us like family members, they provided breakfast an all necessary information. There is the little pool for refreshing, the terrace with hamac - and you listen to the birds an the little river nearby. We loved this place and highly recomend it - we felt like in family. Greatings to the lovely hosts. Muito obrigada!

Helpfull, friendly people. No English, but that's no problem. They even gave us a lift to our dinner restaurant and helped us with the uber when we had problems due to electricity black-out.

Nica y Silvio were an amazing hostess, the place is absolutely stunning and they have everything to make you feel as your own home.

Our room had a queen bed and twin and bathroom , but unfortunately the a/c was not working and we were not able to switch room until the second night because the other room had guests from Chile staying there. I have severe asthma and the hosts do smoke , so they tried to go as far away from me to smoke while I was there.

The husband and wife that own the property live in the front part of the house. They are a lovely hosts and very friendly and work hard to accommodate the guests There are bedrooms on the back side of the house they rent out that has access to the outside kitchen and ice pool and billiard table. I felt very welcome by the hosts. They went above and beyond for a fee $17US to pick us up from the airport, and drive us to Paraguay for shopping $ 40. He also drive us to the falls and got us sorted with tickets and boat ride. They also provided coffee, milk , eggs and bread, ham and cheese in the mornings. I did not realize that you pay 100% directly to the host and no pre-booking deposit. Some of the places in Brazil you pay the first night online when you book and then pay the rest of the nights directly to the host on arrival. A bit of confusion there, but we got it sorted. Hosts speak only Portuguese.

Would have given it 20 if I could, Silvio and Nika are amazing, from the breakfast they put out to the help they offer on getting around the city. The place is idyllic from the waterfall that runs by the property, to the local wildlife that Silvio is more than happy to show you. Thank you Nika and Silvio, an amazing stay. Neil

I really don’t have any complaints. If I have to come up with something, I didn’t like the Amstel beer which is stacked in the fridge. I’d prefer Patagonia, Stella or Heineken. But this is being a bit too picky:). especially considering that the beers and water in the fridge are pretty cheap.

1) Extremely friendly hosts - the place is run by a family - the grandparents live there and take care of you, and the younger generations come everyday and also help with everything (and know English which is helpful!). they gave us advice about what to visit, how to get there, even exchanged us some pesos when we stupidly got up ready to go to the Argentinian side with just reais. They never tried to set us up with some “friend” with special prices, always gave good advice how to not get cheated anywhere. 2) The rooms are clean with comfy beds, air conditioning, fridge (filled with some water, beer, soda) clean bathrooms, universal power plugs (and convertors in addition to that), towels, soap. everything you need. there is a large common area and a pool so you can sit out and read, enjoy the pool, swing in a hammock etc. You can use the outside fridge as well, microwave, toaster etc. 3) Location is very goos. Close to bus stop where busses go to the falls or Argentina, and lots of good restaurants and bars. right next to the property is a little waterfall which you can hear when falling asleep (we slept super well)

There is nothing not to like except having to leave.

If I could rate this place a 15 I would. The property and hosts far exceeded expectations in every category. The hospitality was outstanding and if I could've extended my stay I would have.

Nica and Silvio are really nice people, many many thanks for everything. We enjoyed our stay to the maximum and would come back anytime! In the morning they offered us breakfast and coffee, even a delicious cake for easter :) Silvio also offered us to take us to the Argentinian side of de waterfalls for a very fair price and made a big effort to get us a slot for the boat tour. The best place in Iguacu!!

There was nothing to dislike about it.

The host was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. It felt like home. the property is super nice and the common area is excellent. the host even provides drop off service at a very good rate.
