Unfortunately, our door handle fell off when we first entered our apartment. We then found broken lamps with wire exposed. They were fixed immediately, which was great, but they should have been noticed before we arrived. For a 4-star resort, our apartment didn't reflect this rating.

The facilities for kids were great, basketball, splash Park & pool near the deck. The deck restaurant was great!

Loved the facilities but the rooms need major renovating. In our room the shower over fiberglass bath felt like it was going to break through floor. Needed more kitchen stuff hade to go buy more bowls etc

Rooms feel run down and outdated, restaurant and bar could be good to be open till 9pm like the pools, a bar at the adult pool would be icing on the cake

No parking for vehicles over 2.05m. Having to empty own bins during the stay.

Although it would be expected that there would be some children noise througout our stay. It would be appreciated for guests to be reminded that noise before 6am and after 9pm would be kept to a minimum. Maintenance on the SplashPark was also carried out during our stay - we were there from Friday to Wednesday - and it was closed Tuesday and Wednesday. This was a little inconvenient due to already having previously booked days at tourist destinations.

Turtle Cove has plenty of facilities for the children to enjoy - the Splashpark, Games Room, Putt Putt, Movies - which were all sensational. The Deck Cafe and Bar was reasonably priced and easy to order and lovely. Plenty of space for the parents to spread around the pool, with lots of deck chairs and spaces. The room we had, had fresh new carpet and the furniture was modern and new. The balcony is a good size with a private view in amongst the palm trees. The kitchen was well-equipped, plenty of utensils and everything you needed to cook meals, if needed. Having two bathrooms, with a shower and bath option, were appreciated.

Apartment needs an update but comfortable still

Good facilities however need an update. Looking a bit run down in areas, in the apartment and outdoor facilites. Great staff, always helpful.

Some features were a little weathered. Splash zone was closed for maintenance for 2 of the days we were there.

The number of pools were great, kids club, tennis court, good cafe. Reasonable prices at cafe for food and drinks. We were in a ground floor unit and sound in rooms was ok. Great access to the main pool.

The room smelled a bit off - the A/C unit possibly needed a clean.

Both the adults and the kids had a great time staying here. There were plenty of family-friendly activities to do, and the staff were really helpful.

This is the first time I’ve stayed somewhere that didn’t provide extra toilet paper — only one roll for three nights, and I had to buy more myself. It’s just a small thing, but it made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

Has the water park

The beds were too soft. I slept on the floor to save my temperamental back. The showers had great pressure but were a bit outdated. There was no streaming in the rooms and the wifi was weak.

Facilities are great. From the water park to the 6-7 pools the tennis/basketball/soccer court, games room and gym. All were great.

Fantastic kid and family resort. Kiddos had a ball. Everything you needed was on sight. All with the added bonus of woolies n chem pro only one min walk. Units had all that's needed to cook dinner in. Or stop outside to a BBQ. Staff very friendly n helpful.

Road work noise

Turtle beach resort is great for families. The pool facilities are great. The food and the coffee at the cafe was yummy. A room move was accommodated for us due to road work noise beyond the resorts control.

There was an extra cost if you ran out of toilet paper

Clean, close to a Metro Woolies which was very handy. Only 30 mins from tourist attractions as well. Large apartment perfect for a family.

Parking bays were a bit of a puzzle but once you got it was easy. No lifts from the car park to go to your room. Deck kitchen closes a little bit early for me and no room service

The property was really good for the kids. Pools, sauna and big screen for movie was a winner from my boys. Unfortunately we only stay there for a night .Family room felt like we were at home and my son said the WiFi was good.

Adults spa wasn't very hot for a few nights of the trip. Adults couldn't go on the slides with the kids. Gym was geared for cardio training, not so much resistance training.

Mini Putt around the hotel was fun! Adults pool was long enough to do laps. Rooms were nice and big.
