The young man at the reception was really nice and welcoming all along our stay. Many thanks to him.

The breakfast could be of better quality and with more food.

Everything was fine and the staff very friendly. We had a great stay there!

The location is a little bit noisy during the day because the room was located next to the main street but all in all ok.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful, Mr. Josef is fluent in English. Quiet little town with plenty of parking all around the hotel, well located - 20min to Leutschach (rally) and 10min to Leibnitz. Great continental breakfast, everything was plentiful and fresh.

Nothing major, the mattress is a bit lumpy and springy, and all the keyholes could use some oiling up.

The owner was an excellent host, warm, welcoming to the point of having a glass of wine as a ready welcome and another after our first day of touring. He was very good at explaining the local road closures, etc.. The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The restaurants recommended were all fine and the directions to them on country roads was excellent. A finer Publican one could not find. He also handled the local flooding in the Village well getting us in and out safely. He made the stay most enjoyable and gifted us with two bottles of wine on departure. Which makes the next section hard to write.

I expected a Gasthaus to have a functioning kitchen and a bar available for the guests. I have never been to one before without such until now. I expected someone at the desk through the day, but the main door was locked most of the time and the staff away. With such common amenities, I thought paying the usual Gasthaus and hotel rates a poor choice because the basic services were not there.

Nice hotel with a spacious room and original design. Friendly hosts.

All restaurants have been closed on a weekday we arrived. A solution was a spa hotel nearby. No minibar/drinks late in the evening.

The breakfast was adequate - basic and not too exciting.

The wifi was not too strong and we had trouble connecting in our room.

Ehrenhausen is an absolutely delightful small town with a beautiful church and mauseleum. Our room looked over the church which was beautifully illuminated at night. It was in the middle of what is a small and charming town and short walking distance from a local restaurant. Plenty of free public parking behind the hotel. Good bathroom and decent sized bedroom. Good breakfast and very good value for money. I would definitely return - this little town is way nicer than any others we saw in the area.
