Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. The resort also offers a garden with outdoor furniture, a minibar, bathtubs and ironing facilities. This hotel made our trip. If I could afford it I'd just stay there for the whole 10 days we spent on the coast. It's perfect for beginner surfers as it's right on the Weligama beach. We had a free room upgrade from Ocean View to Ocean Vista and we were so grateful to be pampered. I wish we had tried the Big Fish restaurant, it looked fantastic but we had reservations with friends outside the hotel. The service was exceptional and I'd recommend 100% to anyone looking for a stay in Weligamma.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Amazing secluded hotel in the rainforest. So well looked after, the food was amazing and the trek they organised in the forest reserve was also brilliant. We were picked up and dropped off at the bus station which made the journey there very easy. Could not recommend highly enough!

A water park is also available for guests at the lodge. It’s run by a lovely couple and their young son. They are so hospitable and friendly. The lodge is set in idyllic location by a waterfall v peaceful in nature. There are only 3 rooms which are immaculate and have all amenities. The food is amazing breakfast and dinner so healthy plentiful and so v tasty. They arrange all treks and trips so everything is easy even the leech socks. We did a day rain forest trek and half day village waterfall and temple trip seeing all the rural village life. Definitely recommend and hope to return some day

Room was large, with a comfortable bed, hot water, average WiFi but still able to stream. Staff were helpful and friendly providing a great service. Great Place to stay.

Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. Weligama Temple Tree features some units with garden views, and every room has a kettle. We really recommend staying in Temple Tree resort. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Room was clean and the AC worked perfectly. Best place to stay, nothing bad to say.

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of garden. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Great room and bathroom. Good breakfast and very nice hosts. Laundry service and water bottles were offered directly by the hosts at a fair price.

The pool was super nice and also the food was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you so much for everything!

The dining options include Sri Lankan and European ingredients and spices locally produced. Best time with my little family. So quaint, so relaxed, so easy and unpretentious. Everything was lovely, especially the staff.
