We loved the property it was absolutely worth the price! The staff were amazing, especially the chef who kindly prepared a last-minute dinner for us. A big thank you to Alice, who gave us a warm welcome and shared helpful info about places to visit. The manager was also very friendly and made us feel right at home. We stayed 2 nights in this paradise-like place. The service and the whole staff is so lovely and perfect. And yes, the food is brilliant! The private Villa is so relaxing, quiet and there is everything you need. Every day, you get 2 fresh bottles with water and even in the evening, you get the bed prepared during dinner.In case the bed is to hard, you easily can put the lounge chair mattresses from outside, under the sheets and then it's soft. You have fresh flowers in the villa and the daybed in the rooftop terace is brilliant. In the beginning of high tide it's brilliant for swimming and even snorkeling for some fishes. And it's perfect, because there are absolutely no sea urchins (seeigel)! We absolutely loved it and are already thinking to come back again at the end of our trip.

After the safari adventure, we spent four unforgettable days at Zawadi Hotel in Zanzibar this September. Without a doubt, this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and it deserves every bit of praise. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the property. The entire area feels like a slice of paradise, with lush, manicured gardens and vibrant flowers creating a tranquil oasis. Every detail is carefully attended to, making the surroundings feel magical. The villas were absolutely spotless and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The highlight of our stay, however, was the food. Every meal was served à la carte, and each dish was excellent—imaginative, delicious, and prepared with great care. Dining at Zawadi was a true culinary delight. The staff at Zawadi set a new standard for hospitality. From the warm and welcoming reception team, especially the lovely Noura, to the attentive F&B staff and even the gardeners, everyone we encountered was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. One of the most memorable experiences was the guided tour through the gardens, which was both informative and enjoyable (feeding the donkey was almosts as exciting as safari!). We also loved the little touches, like sundowners served in our villa and the creative gin and tonic menu. Zawadi Hotel is a place we will never forget. It’s more than a hotel—it’s an experience. We’re already dreaming of returning and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a slice of paradise, Zawadi is the place to be.

Beautiful hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Located in peaceful Bwejuu, just 5 minutes from the beach but within walking distance of Paje and all the nightlife. The food in the restaurant is excellent with really nice breakfast, the owner and the staff are very kind, helpful and welcoming, I highly recommend!
