The Lodge treated me like a valued guest and were willing to do things to accommodate my needs. They were always smiling and cheerful. The Lodge was across from the National Park so it was easy to do a safari, a bike ride or a boat ride. Thanks Guide Sagar for my 4 guided adventures where I was able to see a rhino with a baby, some gaur, a monitor lizard, lots of birds, elephants and deer. I will be back to find the tiger that we heard in the grass.

Green Chwadi felt like a little paradise for me. The surroundings are beautiful and it's right in nature. The staff is so incredibly accommodating, they made me feel like a princess and always took care of my needs. They also had different activities on offer, and I chose the jungle walk, Jeep Safari and boat trip, and a cultural night with the Tharu people. It was such a once in a lifetime experience! They also took me on different side trips in the area and I got to meet locals and saw how they live. The rooms are decorated so nicely with artwork from local artists. The food was all organic and very good, and even though I have a lot of food restrictions (vegan, glutenfree), they always created little varieties for me. With part of the benefits, the nature retreat supports the school next door, and the locals in the area, which is auch a nice bonus. You can really feel how everyone involved pours their heart into this and that's what makes the difference. I left Green Chwadi so relaxed and centered, and wish I could've stayed longer! :-)

Tiger Wildlife Resort was my home for two weeks. Besides the beauty of the place, perfect for those who seek quiet surroundings, what was truly remarkable is the care I received as a guest here. I felt like a VIP, a princess even, as the owners, Gambir, and the rest of the team, went out of their way to make my stay absolutely perfect. I was given what I believe is the best room on the property, with a balcony facing the park, from which every morning I would see all sorts of animals: deers, rhinos, boars and countless birds (among which peacocks and black storks and openbills) The food here is absolutely excellent, always freshly made and very tasty. The chef is so sweet, always doing his best to satisfy my (many!) requests. The safaris and tours were also lovely experiences, as the parks in the area have lots to offer. I recommend taking the time to visit Tikauli and the 20k lake. I also enjoyed walking around the rural village and talking to a few locals who seem to adore foreigners. In general, I would imagine staying here about 5 days is enough to tick all the touristy stuff of the list... unless - like me - you're not in a rush about seeing this and that, maybe you work online and enjoy taking some time away from more mundane life.. then stay as long as your heart feels and discover how wholesome it is to become a Tiger Wildlife family member ! A Perfect Nature Retreat! I had an amazing stay at River Bank Jungle Resort. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s the perfect place to unwind. Very nice place to relax and see the jungle. Staff were great and the food was exellent. We had Thali every night. Huge choice for breakfast. You can do jungle tours and go down the river. We saw lots of rinos crocodiles, and various birds. You can sometime see the crocidiles from the resort. In the evenings they had local dance performances and the pool was nice. Well recommend if you are looking for a few relaxing days.
