Only a 5 minute walk, or a 5 min complementary water taxi or shuttle bus. All were very good modes of getting to and from the parks. Also when you walk or get the water taxi, you have a much smaller security station to get through, to get into the theme parks, which is a lot nicer and quicker than the main one at the car park/transport hub. The hotel is also lovely. I was with my 10 year old son, so the very nice fancy restaurants were not to his taste, but the takeaway on the lower floor did excellent food that we could take away and eat in our rooms. Lovely starbucks coffee, refreshments and the pizza was really good. We only stayed 1 night, but would like to stay longer next time. The location of our rental property was centrally located ( 20-30 min drive)to all of the theme parks. While we only visited the Universal parks, Disney is just around the corner from the property. There are many food venues near the rental, as well as numerous Pubix and Walmarts to pick up any necessities. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick meal at home, if you so desire. Personally, I am very easy to please, and Kissimmee was exactly what my family needed. The attractions are conveniently located. Aquatica water park was only a 20-minute drive, and SeaWorld was just in between. The Old Town House is adorable and caters to all types of people. Theme Parks, Hotel Resort and Entertainment - Recreation. Lovely weather, very warm and short rain showers. Our favourite places were at Universal Studios and the Resort pool! It's close to Disney, there are plenty of places to eat, you have Old Town amusement park, there are highways that take you straight to Universal Studios and Sea World, hundreds of hotels to choose from, shops, flea markets....
