Great new resort, comfortable large villas, delicious breakfast. Common spaces, bar area and pool are well maintained and clean. We used the gym and although not large it had everything we needed. SPA was great to for a massage. Staff was very professional and when we encountered an issue it was resolved very efficiently. Short walk to the beach through Jambiani village.

The hotel is brand new, exceptionally clean and modern. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, very well sound proofed. the room was serviced twice a day. the pool area is fantastic and relaxing, you can order snacks directly at the pool. Breakfast was superb! Staff are helpful and friendly.

We liked everything, the location was perfect for us, we had a car, and we wanted privacy, this was the perfect place. The view from our room was amazing, the food was reaaly good, the staff so friendly, the ocean amazing too, so beautiful, at low tide you can walk to Jambiani. At high tide you can swim near the hotel, big room. Near the hotel on the trees you can find monkeys.

This was a remarkable experience and everything was perfect. If felt like a 5 stars boutique hotel ambiance. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious, the breakfast was very rich, tasty with quality ingredients. The team including Plil was super kind and patient to all our needs but above all there was Anna - the manager of this diamond place . She is AMAZING lady that other than her management and hospitality skills, have a great personality and in parallel to her full devotion to make her guests happy with her high class Italian standards, she is helping local children to have proper education. A truly remarkable place with a real magic that wins any other luxury hospitality that you can think of. Thank you Anna!!!

The hotel was so Ply lovely and amazing. I was so happy that we chose this accommodation. The rooms are beautiful very nice decorated and well thought. The views are amazing and it was a very quite and peaceful place since there are only 13 rooms or something. The pool is huge and the beach setting wonderful. The service was extremely good. Everyone is super friendly and helpful and well trained. The food definitely great as well. The manager , a very friendly Italian person is always around and gives everyone a good feeling, very familiar atmosphere. We loved it and would recommended it warmly !

EVERYTHING! seriously the best place I have stayed! the food was amazing (you could choose between everything at the delicious menu) and coffee and smoothies just as good. A small charming lodge that is very well maintained, with beautiful villas and rooms built in traditional style, functional, furnished with great taste. I can only recommend the restaurant, delicious and reasonably priced cuisine, flexible meal times and above all, open every day. I would like to emphasise the friendly staff and the personal contact with the owners Annick and Ben, who helped us a lot with their great advice and help with our daily excursions. It's great to see that there are still such affordable, small and above all personal hotels that are also sustainable and environmentally friendly. We will remember this lodge as inspiring and recommend it to others. Congratulations to the whole team.

    I had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Oyster, a true oasis in Jambiani. Despite visiting during the off-season when other hotels were more or less closed, the Blue Oyster was thriving with a full house. The entire staff at the hotel provided exemplary hospitality, offering friendly and helpful service. With various room types available, I stayed in room No.19 located towards the back of the property. Despite its location, the refreshing sea breeze was always present, and the room offered partial views of the sea as well as a serene outlook over the central park. The food was of good quality and plentiful, and the level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive. Any requests or needs were promptly attended to by the accommodating reception staff and other employees. The hotel provides an enough number of sunbeds, situated on an elevated place to minimize interruptions from beach vendors, ensuring a peaceful vacation experience. Additionally, the hotel prides itself on maintaining beach cleanliness by cleaning the trash from the beach that was brought by the tide every morning, and they encourage all guests to act sustainably and ecologically. Keep in mind, if you want to swim in the ocean that the beach in front of the hotel is subject to high tidal changes. Overall, I highly recommend the Blue Oyster for a tranquil stay in Jambiani.

    We stayed here for 4 fabulous nights early October, after a couple of nights in Stonetown and a safari on Tanzania and Kenya! We were so glad we picked this resort due to it's location, size of the resort and value for money! Jambiani is an authentic village in Zanzibar, with seaweed farming, right outside the resort on the beach, so you can have a taste of the true culture. However this does not take away any comforts or luxury from the resort - all the rooms are situated around this amazing pool, which then had views of the beach. The staff were amazing, and the food was excellent! You also had alternative restaurants just short walks up the beach. Make sure you go for a sail and/or snorkel with "Mr Coconut" on a traditional dhow.

    Absolutely loved my stay here! Facilities were amazing - massive pool and lots of deck chairs around the pool or at the private beach. Staff were so friendly and remembered my name whenever they saw me - it’s the little things! Rooms were amazing and spacious. Loved my balcony for morning chill time. Great central location. This resort is a great respite from people trying to sell you things on the beach or constantly trying to talk to you when you’re tanning (as a solo female traveller, this can get so tiresome.) definitely worth the splurge to stay here and feel so relaxed and soak up the sun. My flight was quite late at night and they let me store my belongings, use the resort and shower before it was time to go also :)

    It was not our first time at Zanzibar Dream Lodge, but first time booked via this website. We love a laid-back atmosphere there, good vibes, very friendly staff. The owner - Kassim is an awesome person, always willing to help and doing his best to fulfill his guests all needs. Zanzibar Dream Lodge restaurant serves a very delicious food, including fresh seafood and flavourful fruits. A nice beach is just few steps away and you can use sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. If you are looking for a genuine place, where you can charge your batteries with positive energy, it is a perfect place to do so!

    One of the only places ever that has exceeded our expectations. We stayed for our last 3 nights in Zanzibar and wish we had longer. Promised land is just magical. Stunning, laid back jungle, beach vibes, great food and friendly staff and outstanding views over the turquoise sea, especially at sunset when you can experience drumming and singing around the firepit. The rooms were huge and comfortable and there's a resident monkey family that likes to hang out in the gym!

There are many bars and small restaurants along the coast that offer a variety of food. In addition, in the town (of course African) you can buy products that are very fresh, and the people are friendly. Here you can buy handmade jewelry and souvenirs from the local population and the Masai.

    I loved that it was a proper reflection of the Island in that you took home the beauty of the place and kindness of the people. It was not loud or noisy and had very few touristy hotels and vendors hassling you

    This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten...

    This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

    Beautiful beach, warm and calm ocean to swim in. Lots of eating options, amazing people. Yes, there are people trying to sell you things on the beach - but was quieter than other beaches (Like Paje) and they are all respectful.

    This place is a gem! A new hotel with a big heart, right by the ocean, surrounded by peaceful gardens and a stunning pool. The rooms are spacious and stylish, the breakfast is fresh and delicious, and very friendly staff.     Jerry is a wonderful Location next to the beach.

    Jerry is a wonderful Location next to the beach. We stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed it The staff was very helpful and supportive. The rooms are nice and clean. And Jambiani is a nice and quiet place to stay. Next time I would go there again.

    Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.

    Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats what was nice. Wandered to different restaurants along the beach for lunch and dinner. Limited during off season but enough open. We came via Dar Es Salaam airport and ferry. If you can't get an e-visa before arrival, plan 2hrs to exit the airport. We missed our booked ferry and had to pay again for the last ferry on a different company. Used Zanzibar Quest to book the ferry and transport with exemplary service and support via whatsapp and email. The new travel insurance requirement $50p/p on top of the $50p/p visa fee is a scam that mars the experience. The amount of times we had to show our passport and visa / travel insurance was reminiscent of the cold war. Inefficient and overboard. So if you can fly direct to Zanzibar and use e-visa or have patience and a loose schedule. The drive to the Page beach area took about 1 ½ hrs with the first ⅓ taking ¾ of the time with a typical african road experience. Get a good driver. Driving licenses are issued by testing payment of fee. The driver booked by Zanzibar Quest was excellent. Great beach, wind was consistent during the afternoon to either kite or cool down. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Not a fan of the immigration process or the fees.
