- From US$320.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 75 reviewsBeaufort House is a little piece of heaven in a stunning and quaint historical little coastal town. Sharon and Noel were the perfect hosts. The property itself is quite simply fabulous, with wonderful attention to detail at every corner. The bedrooms are beautiful and each one different. A delicious breakfast, to include an array of fresh local produce is served. An especially lovely feature, apart from breakfasting together as a group, is a drinks and canapés soirée hosted by Sharon and Noel for their guests each evening from 6 - 7/7:30pm Good lively conversation over a glass or two of wine in very pleasant company and another perfect evening begins.Guest review byElizabethIreland
- From US$131.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 248 reviewsBlythcliffe is a lovely heritage property that sits beautifully in its surroundings. it’s very close to all the wonderful restaurants and cafes. The gardens are lovely, with lots of doves living in the trees, there are chickens (great eggs), and a very old deaf cat. The breakfast is exceptional- always fresh and very tasty. They went the extra mile to ensure my husbands dietary requirements were met (coeliac). Hopefully we will get back there one day.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a very comfortable bed and a fantastic small terrace offering a wonderful view that was a joy to see in the morning. Trevor has been a fantastic host, and we loved chatting with him. He made us feel so welcome that we decided to extend our stay. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone, and when I return to Akaroa next time, I will undoubtedly book here.Guest review byFabrizioItaly

We had only booked for one night in Akaroa which we regretted as soon as we arrived. The town has such a relaxed vibe & our accomodation was excellent and central to everything we needed. The car stayed parked up as we comfortably walked to supermarket restaurants & souvenir shopping. It was definitely worth an extra night just to relax and soak in the atmosphere.Guest review byJenni RooAustralia - 10.0
We had a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, and the view was absolutely stunning. My daughter especially loved feeding the sheep, which made the experience even more special. Everything was well-maintained, and we truly enjoyed our time. Highly recommend.Guest review byBLOOMY - 10.0

Great motel and location not to far from the Ferry at Diamond Harbour. Cafe and Brewery, supermarket and petrol near by. Stunning scenery. Great for quieter travellers wanting a peaceful location and a love of nature. Lovely walks and little bays and beaches to visit. About 7 minutes by Ferry you can visit Lyttleton and they have a market there on a Saturday morning. The motel was very new, clean and beautifully presented with lovely views. The owners were lovely and very friendly. It was a dog friendly motel so I took my small dog who is part of the family. This motel was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay at. I will stay again in the future. We ate at the cafe which is near by and also at the Brewery about a 4 minute drive to get to or a 20 minute walk away.Guest review byMorris - 10.0

Charming little town with an amazing bakery called "A La Baguette". Plenty of other wonderful shops to browse through and find the perfect gift. Full of history re French settlement in 1840 and British settlement in 1850. It's a really fun drive there too - endlessly zigzagging roads that showcase incredible vistas at each tight turns. Lots of walks in the area too for all levels. I visited in September when it was cool but sunny; I'm sure it must be a bustling place to visit in the Summer months.Guest review bySeptembreBebeAustralia - 8.0
