Their hospitality extended not just to us but also to our cat, which made our stay even more special. The hotel is truly pet-friendly—our cat was free to roam around without disturbing other guests, and the staff even went the extra mile by offering treats! It’s rare to find a place that genuinely embraces pets as part of the experience, and we truly appreciated it. Beyond the pet-friendly atmosphere, the hotel itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and had a warm, inviting ambiance. Whether you’re traveling with pets or just looking for a cozy place to stay in Les Houches, Hotel Le Saint Antoine is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it and would love to return!

I recently had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Mont-Blanc in Chamonix, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The location is ideal, situated conveniently in the heart of Chamonix, making it easy to explore the charming town. The hotel features an excellent bar where you can unwind after a day on the slopes, and the pool and facilities are top-notch, perfect for relaxation. One of the standout services was car service to drop my family to and from the ski fields, which made getting to the slopes incredibly convenient. Overall, I highly recommend Hôtel Mont-Blanc for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chamonix!

The quant feel - Valerie had made the whole place feel so festive with little touches all around the hotel. The hot tub and sauna were superb. Breakfast options were gods and coffee always fresh. The lounge was very welcoming. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and the mattress perfect.

Amazing staff and restaurant food- dessert buffet if you opt in for their set menu!! Breakfast has a wide enough range. Room is clean and ample for the 3 of us. It's close to the free ski bus stop (3 min walk). In terms of the closest ski lift, it's not useful for us because we have a 3 year-old toddler who can not take that drag lift.

    We love the Hotel Aiguille du Midi, the family who runs this quaint and authentically French ski hotel welcome every guest into their family atmosphere. When one stays at the Hotel Aiguille du Midi they can imagine Chamonix fifty years ago, such a cool experience. The restaurant had a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. The dinners were fantastic with the family staffing the floor and making sure every aspect was excellent for their guests, including gluten free preparations. If you want to stay at a hotel that you will feel like a member of an extended family when you leave this is the one for you.

    Great for the week-end, during autumn or even summer! Go take the train to Mer de Glace and go up the mountain to Aiguille du Midi. They're a must do! Also go on a little hike to Chalet de Floria for nice café with views. The hike is only 45 minutes and easy.

    We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our...

    We were on a mission to revisit Parc de Merlet with our grandaughter thirty-six years after we took her mother. The Parc delivered, with Chamois, Mouflon and Marmots to enjoy. The views from accommodation on that side of the valley are the best in the valley. In Les Houches village, the local patisserie was visited and a different cake enjoyed every day. There were plenty of paths (including Tour de Mont Blanc) into the forest, for walks from the chalet. Wonderful Alpine wildlife is easy to find. It was convenient to take the free train into Chamonix and take a ride to Le Brevent then walk the ridge and back to the chalet. We did the Mer de Glas, to from Chamonix. We went up to Bellevue on the teleferique and walked across the alp, finding several wild flowers and even a rare Wart-Biter Grasshopper! We then took the Tramway du Mont Blanc down to Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains and had a lovely afternoon in the beautiful park. There was a very tough Via Ferrata for the over 70s (with 50 years experience) and a Go Ape-type circuit with a rock-climb included in the trail for the 10-year-old and her Mamma, then train back to Les Houches. One weekend evening was lively down in the village, but up on the hill we could sit out in relative calm and stare at the sunset on snowy Mont Blanc, stars and the torch-lights of mountaineers picking their way down. All-in-all, very relaxing.

Its super calm for families, frequent train will take you anywhere, no need to use car. Good if you want to have a calm holiday! In winter for sure great advantage - cablecar next to hotel.

    Everything was amazing, France is beautiful and people are very friendly there and helpful. Places to go are Lovegood cafe and The Pause pub. It was very easy to get around in the car and go to places that we were interested in.

    Chamonix was a nice mountain town, with a pleasant dining district. We found it to be very pedestrian-friendly. We enjoyed the walking paths that lead up and down the valley. We could have used a little more information or maps about the hiking just outside the town.

    Pros: The chalet is spacious, well located, and looks just like the photos. Beautiful surroundings. Cons: Very expensive for the experience. Out of 10 days, 5 with no hot water. Support was unresponsive (calls ignored, WhatsApp replies delayed). With small children this was very hard.

    We were lucky with the weather and snow, but there were a lot of people because of the school holidays. The resort itself is very cozy, beautiful trails of different levels, convenient markings. Ideal for beginner skiers.

    We were there during Tour de France so more crowded than...

    We were there during Tour de France so more crowded than usual but it is a lovely place and the views are spectacular no matter where you look. The town is in the valley below Mont Blanc! The people are helpful and polite.
