- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,940 reviewsThis hotel is incredible - right next to the Santiago de Compostela, the location couldn't be more perfect. The room we had was so large, we thought there had been a mistake, but no - it's just an incredible property, and you do feel like Medieval Catholic Royalty when you stay there. The breakfast was delicious - although it was our first time experiencing tableside service for ordering omelettes etc ( we are used to just going up to an egg station to order!) so we were patiently guided back to our table and told to wait for the waiter to come around, which we both thought was funny! Breakfast had so many Galician specialties on it as well, we tried as much as possible, and it was all delicious. We loved walking through the hotel interior and the inner courtyards as well - it's incredibly beautiful. All of the staff were so courteous and friendly - and very patient with all of our questions. We had dinner at the Tapas restaurant our second night and would absolutely recommend it - the seafood was incredible. Even my vegan partner was chowing down on shrimp and scallops ( we joke that he is now 'Spanish Vegan' ) - and the price was more than fair.Guest review byMarielCanada
- From US$281.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 938 reviewsThe hotel is pure luxury. Every single detail is taken care of, to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The grounds, the hotel and the rooms are beautifully decorated, to the smallest of details. The cafe in the garden is very nice and the spa is good too. Only 10 min drive to Santiago de Compostela center. We would love to come back.Guest review byEkaterinaItaly

I have been traveling for several decades, seeing places from different corners of the world. With this experience, I can say that Bilbao is one of the most beautiful cities I have visited, both in terms of appearance and vibe.Guest review byAlin PetrusRomania - 8.0
Nice lively city though very busy with tourists.
Nice lively city though very busy with tourists. Plenty of things to see and do. The San Telmo Museum is well worth a visit. Pintxos bars are obviously one of the main attractions but there are plenty of good restaurants too.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 10.0
Very nice city. It isn't big and can be walked through.
Very nice city. It isn't big and can be walked through. All districts that we visited were tidy, with good architecture and style. Really beautiful streets and architecture, traditional and modern at the same time. Recommend to visit: - San Francisco (central) park - not big, but proposes a good walk. - Catedral de San Salvador - it brings impression. Also nice walking around through older streets, whose squares are the centers of evening entertainment. - Oviedo Congress and Exhibitions Center - very impressive with its size and design. I was shocked encountering such a stylish giant in a city that small. - Sacred Heart of Jesus Monument - the monument itself is nice, but mostly interesting (at least for me) for its amazing view - the whole city can be observed from here, mountain views, your site can even reach the ocean and Gijon. Also there are several points of interest nearby moving back to the city. If you travel with a child, the playgrounds are also fine here. My daughter enjoyed zip lines a lot which are quite common here.Guest review byMikhailRussia - 10.0
I only spent 1 day in town, but would love to come back.
I only spent 1 day in town, but would love to come back. Went to Virgen del Mar for a concert at sunset: it was fantastic, don't miss the experience if you have this chance, don't worry about it being outside the town, local townhall normally finds a way, and if not, there is always the taxi option. Loved El Sardinero beach, the area of Magdalena and its castle, and the architecture.Guest review byAnonymousRomania - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 8.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0

This resort in Asturias was unknown to us. A wonderful traditional holiday town, which has been welcoming guests for well more than a century. The ambiance was great, the walks and beaches fantastic and the restaurants and bars excellent. To be recommended.Guest review byNigelFrance - 6.0

It's a pretty medieval town, and I read that they control development, yet it still allows souvenir shops! It suffers in the way all pretty touristy places do: not many decent places to eat at a reasonable price. After one evening looking around we used the hotel as a base to travel to other places. I'd recommend a day visit at most.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The hotel was right on the harbour so it was great to have look around the boats ect. A short walk uphill into the town and you find plenty of bars and good restaurants. If you dont fancy the walk into town there are 3 good fish restaurants on or around the harbour. If you have a push bike there's plenty to explore like the lighthouse ect.Guest review bykevinUnited Kingdom
