FAQs about hotels in Andalucía
Pulsating with History and Tradition
Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.
Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.
Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.
Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.
Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

- From US$70.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 127 reviewsWe were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.Guest review byPavelCzech Republic

Very walkable to see all the main sights. However, book up tickets for the cathedral and the Royal Alcazar online well in advance. So many coach trips have booked up the tickets. Plaza de Espana was well worth a visit and no charge.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Granada is a city whose center is the University of Granada, you can study in faculties, research institutes, especially the library is very beautiful and comfortable for research, ... food is very cheap if you cook for yourself, and if you have a student card or a lecturer card, you will be able to eat 4 dishes + wine for 5 EUR (if you eat out it will cost about 20 EUR); In addition, you should visit castles, churches, ... in general very beautiful; especially the weather and air are fresh, very suitable for people walking, playing sports; or if you want to invest in business, real estate prices in Granada are also very cheap, you can buy land in the city for about 300-1000 EUR/m2 or forest land for 1 EUR/m2, ...Guest review byDo Huu HaiVietnam - 10.0
We loved visiting Córdoba. What a fabulous city!
We loved visiting Córdoba. What a fabulous city! It's such a great city for walking, with lots of parks, fountains, and outdoor sculpture. We were able to see everything we wanted to in two days. We bought the 10euro (for seniors) tickets to visit La Mezquita. That was perfect for us. We also walked back to the Roman Bridge at night to see that part of town illuminated. It was beautiful!Guest review byTinaUnited States - 8.0

We Were a 15 min walk from old town which was perfect. Beautiful architecture and tiled alley ways. Also many lovely shops. All we needed within walking distance. Visited Peurto Banus buy bus. Approx €1.20 each one way. Eye opening to see. How the other half live!!! All in all great stay. Cafe Latifa close to appts our fav. Mossi (owner) couldn't have been more welcoming. Advised us on shared menu. Delicious. Also ate at The Farm for flamenco show. Staff very nice but in off their feet so made it difficult to get their attention. Fish resturant in same square a no. Sorry. Up alley way from here beautiful church where I attended Mass on Sunday. Breath taking.Guest review byClaireUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It was a but rough in the bars just outside where we stayed but overall it was a nice place with pretty squares & nice shops. Lots of restaurants with a wide selection of outside eateries. Many golfers so lots of places had tvs showing sports. It was atmospheric & friendly. The iconic bridge is very impressive and there are some lovely streets and buildings to admire in the old town. But for the most part, the rest of Ronda is pretty ugly and dirty and spoiled by over tourism. But on the flip side there is plenty of accommodation in and around Ronda so it's a good base for exploring the nicer villages (such as Grazalema which is truly authentic and not at all spoiled by over tourism) nearby.Guest review byChrisFrance
