Absolutely stunning property, with very kind and helpful staff. Your greeting is next level and people really seem to cater to help. Great views from the rooftop restaurant, AC in the rooms, walking distance to the corniche and the biblioteca alexandrina. The Grand Plaza Hotel is a perfect and very nice hotel. All employees are very helpfull and kind. The hotel and rooms are very clean. I liked also the breakfeast and dinner. The hotel is also a perfect place for families. My little son was happy there and he got a lot of positive attention and love from the employees. We really enjoyed our stay in the Grand Plaza Hotel and I definitely recommend it!

It is a historic landmark surrounded by King Farouk's palace from one side and El Salamlek Palace from the other side. The hotel witnessed scenes from a 100 different cinema movies during the 1960's and 1970's. The breakfast buffet at the morning terrace overlooking the bay is one of the best hotel's perks. Also the Italian restaurant which also has an awesome international menu is more than awesome. The fisherman soup was a great new discovery this time! Staff was very helpful everywhere.

    This hotel is modern, clean, easy to find, wifi worked well, and has great views over the Mediterranean. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They provide an extensive range of food for the smorgasbord breakfast, and delicious dinners in the Indian Restaurant on L2. We were welcomed with a plate of fresh fruit in our bedroom suite. They also have a free shuttle bus service to selected destinations.

    Beach is good but full of jelly fishes.

    Beach is good but full of jelly fishes. My kids got hurt while in water. Beach is not clean. They call it Sidi Kir beach. Charge is 50EGP for umbrella and 10EGP for each chair. Entrance is free. Neighbourhood has no restaurants and almost nothing. It’s very far from the city. There is a Carrefour nearby in Orouba mall. You can go there by taxi

    Alexandria is a wonderful city with special lure that joins past and present. Good weather, long variable beaches, a lot of nice comfortable restaurants but avoid those within Qaitbai castle area as they are over priced. People are very nice and cooperative. There is a lot to visit in Alexandria that suits every one taste
