A very nice hotel. New, clean, nice swimming pool. Rich breakfast. Located very close to the main street, restaurants and fish market. Rooms facing the pool are quieter but less bright. It doesn't matter, both options are good. The service is very engaging. Emilia, Carolina, José and others do everything to make guests happy. We recommend this hotel for your stay in beautiful Puerto Ayora.

Absolutely loved this hotel, from catching a water taxi to their own pier, to allowing a free late checkout and with a room and restaurant both with water views. It felt like an experience and a world away from the main town (although it’s only a couple of mins in a water taxi).

Amazing new hotel right on the water
We took a chance on this new hotel and it exceeded our expectations. Everything is new, the pool is wonderful, tastefully decorated, and very helpful staff. The wifi was solid, which was great as on this remote Island often is is very slow. This allowed me to get some(not much;) work done. The sea life was such a special part for us as we enjoyed our cocktails by the pool in the afternoon.
The staff let us know the restaurant is not open yet, but told us it will be in a couple of months. They do provide a great breakfast at the hotel across the street. The tours they recommended were excellent! Overall a great hotel that we would come back to on this beautiful Island. Thanks!Read Less

We had an excellent breakfast pack from them on our early morning excursion. Well presented and packed for us to eat as we got hungry on the boat trip. All were wrapped in eco-friendly packaging. 10/10
We were super happy with how they explained their commitment to being responsible towards nature and what they do to be actively involved. The info in the rooms was presented subtly, although not overwhelmingly. The free shopping bags and water bottles were a nice touch.
The staff at the Finch Bay hotel were extremely welcoming, the food was excellent (both for breakfast and dinner) and the location was incredibly special. The walk from the water taxi drop off was longer than expected but so unusual to arrive at a destination this way so it wasn’t a problem. I can honestly say this was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. There was a feeling of quality and friendliness that made our stay very special.
The house was in a perfect location! Watching the turquoise waters every day from the dining room and the sea lions (60+) and one that hung out on the front porch under the hammock was the best greeter! The house was clean and fully stocked with water we needed. The washer was excellent. Look forward to staying again. The family was so sweet and kind!!

The port is great with parks, piers and bay views.
The interpretation center is also a good place to visit, not only the museum displays but also the hiking to the hills for panoramic views of the ocean, yes, you can see Kicker Rock with naked eyes, but also to the beaches free of guides.
Best of all is the 360 tour to fully enjoy the beauties of the island.

San Cristobal offers so much to do.
San Cristobal offers so much to do. Some of our favourite places were snorkelling at Kicker Rock, hiking up to Frigatebird Hill, watching the sunset at Playa Mann, snorkelling and Punta Carole and Playa Baquerizo. The interpretation centre is super informative and a really nice play to have a walk around. The whole island is abundant with sea lions which is a fun alternative to people watching. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars along the main strip which vary in terms of price range. It was super easy to get around San Cristobal. Some our favourite spots to eat were: Cri's Burgers, Sea Garden, The Pier, Seafood Casa, El Descanso Marinero.
