Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. Great staff in the hotel, restaurant, and spa. The family suite was very quiet. The food in the restaurant was great. Jesica from the Spa delivered a great massage. Front desk staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable about the tourist spots around Garmish. The hotel is dog friendly. We had a great time!

This hotel stands within a grand castle estate overlooking Tegernsee Lake, and offers a wellness area, outdoor and indoor pools and a sauna. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi and free parking. I really liked the spa facilities and the luxurious feeling. Room was comfy and the staff delivered to an exceptional and personalised degree. Bubbles for breakfast and the variety in the breakfast club was also very nice.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, only a shrot walk to the downtown area with many shops and restaurants! Right along a main bike path as well.
