When we arrived, there was some urgent construction underway to improve the units. While this caused a bit of disruption to our stay, we decided to check out a day early and informed the team. To our surprise, they took the initiative to contact Booking.com on our behalf and arranged a refund for the final night. On top of that, they offered us an additional $50 as a gesture of goodwill. They weren’t obligated to do any of this, and it truly reflects their commitment to excellent service. What could have been a disappointing experience was completely turned around by their responsiveness and care. The hosts were quick to respond to any queries, the location is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable. At the end of the day, it all comes down to service—and in this regard, they truly excelled.

This was the perfect home base for our Tahoe trip! It had everything we needed and we especially appreciated being able to use the garage since we brought our bicycles with us. The host was very responsive and friendly throughout our stay. Excellent communication. We felt comfortable and slept well - very important! The coffee bar was also great to have in the morning! Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back again!

Cozy Tahoe Donner Retreat is situated in Truckee. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Our stay here was amazing. The home is very well kept and clean. The carpet is pristine. The bathrooms were well stocked. We did not have to run to the store for more tp, the kitchen was well stocked as well with utensils. Etc. The backyard is beautiful. It is amazing to wake up to the beauty of trees and nature. I highly recommend if you're looking for a slower paced retreat with nature and hiking. This was only minutes away from Donner Lake and hiking trails. It's pet friendly with dog beds and feeding trays. Made our fur babies feel right at home. The bed space was great, and bunks are very fun for kiddos. I would love to come back!

The house was amazing. Modern, clean. My only complaint is it was pretty hot in there. I appreciate you having the ac units you had, but it was uncomfortable during the day.

Everything in great condition! Very clean and new furniture & fixtures. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Modern Tv set and fireplace working well.

We had a wonderful time enjoying every moment. This is a wonderful place with a great location. The atmosphere in the house was very comfortable and cozy, everything was thought out to the smallest detail to make your holiday perfect. Set in Stateline and only 10 km from Tahoe Queen, Private condo steps from ski lift minutes to lake offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Condo is well maintained and was the nicest of several mid-range properties we’ve rented in the area. Great space for a family, with three separate sleeping spaces, and having the extra bathroom was awesome. Tasteful decor. Towels and bedding were plush and thoughtful amenities were provided, like snacks, face wash, and lotion. The pots/pans were in great condition - so rare! As a bonus, the pricing we got on this stay was really great.
