The room was clean a the view from terrace is amazing. Wycliffe can arrange transport from the city or some activities. The food is also very good and all staff are very nice. Highly recommend place to visit, offering peaceful retreat.

The location is great; small island in lake Bunyonyi, perfect to disconnect for some days from the busy Kampala. There is not much to do around, but that fits perfect if what you are looking for is peace and quiet. The lodge has a private swimming deck to the lake- highly recommended to go for a swim there! And shoutout to the library they have- it made by day when I got there. They also provide with free Black Tea in case you fancy that as companion to the reading, appart from the great views. The profits from the lodge go back to the island communities, so we paid dinner with pleasure.

We have been there 3 nights. We changed a room in the middle ( an upgrade ) both rooms were great ( number 7 was the best). The hotel has an amazing view, a serine environment with nice sitting areas where you can sit and eat/ have a drink in front of the view. Service was excellent and everybody were so nice and helpfull.We took the hotel kayaks to explore the lake (free for guest's use).

We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. What makes this place so special are the staff. From the manager (pick up me at the town and send to the resort by boat), the boatman, local guide, chef, helper and all in the resort. This resort strategic location is perfect who love quiteness and really into the nature. Trust me once you are here you dont feel like to leave. The staff will serve their best to you with smiling all time. You will feel almost like at home. Thank you so much Nyamunyonyi Lake Resort for your great hospitality. I will definitely come again!

I truely enjoyed the atmosphere during our stay, as it feels as if you are on your own planet, as there is just you and the incredible beauty of the lake and its nature, as you overlook the whole scenery. Could have spend all day just sitting there and enjoy the beauty of it all. Pure joy.

Amazing staff that are always smiling and super helpful. Amazing views of Kabale town and I would recommend people to stay at this guest house. Food is also delicious.
