Most comfortable sleep since leaving home. Super supportive but not hard beds . Real quilt not poly, giving warmth and weight. Chalet is fitted for wheelchair access, so bathroom was a spacious well fitted room with a curtained shower area, good water pressure. Whole property was spotlessly clean. Fitted with smaĺl kitchenette which we didn't use, so can't comment on it. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast included in the Cafe next door meant full choice from menu and real coffee. Parking right at door.

The sauna was amazing, reached 90 degrees, was amazing. Outdoor shower. The bed was incredible comfortable. The decoration of the rooms and how it was all set up, felt like home right away! Dogs that greeted us on arrival. Owners super friendly.

This is the cutest, quaintest little place, with a stunning view, and a five minute walk from the beach or the tavern. Easily walkable to the Moeraki Boulders beach, and Hugh gave us great tips re collecting a heap of green lipped mussels at low tide - delicious! The only thing we were sad about was that we only had one night here, en route to the north island. Would definitely return, and would definitely recommend.

Kohapeal on pakihoid ja piknikuala.... The approach to the home is spectacular-a long tree-lined drive with overhanging branches leading to a private estate with English gardens. Our bags were delivered before we arrived and the host family had arranged to have them delivered to our apartment. We had the "loft"- a second floor apartment built upon the garage which had also been built out into an apartment. The resident of the downstairs apartment came out to greet us and was a very charming and welcoming hostess. We found the apartment to have all of the amenities we needed and we were quite comfortable, The location on the rail trail was convenient for our travel but required a significant walk to get into town for dinnner.
