This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

The location is absolutely stunning, with a balcony that looks out over the most breathtaking view. The chalet was charming, comfortable, and well-equipped, including a pleasant bathroom and shower. The full board meals were exceptional. I can’t stop thinking about their Sri Lankan breakfast, and the ice cream was unforgettable. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Jason and Mr. Charka for their kindness.

Mi sono sentita subito a casa,mi hanno accolto nella loro famiglia dopo pochi secondi, è molto bella come sensazione specialmente per una persona che sta viaggiando da sola. Ti insegnano inoltre molto riguardo alla cultura locale, ad usi e costumi. Inoltre il padrone di casa, Niroshan,si occupa di un progetto super interessante,il loro obiettivo è di sviluppare una farm completamente eco,senza impatti negativi sull'ambiente e nello stesso momento di creare uno spazio dove le persone possono riunirsi e riconnettersi con la natura. Si occupa anche di educare i bambini e la comunità locale verso scelte più ecosostenibili. Sicuramente sarà super contento di darvi più informazioni se sarete interessati :)

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. If you are looking for a great local experience in the nature you came to the right place!
